At time at arrival 22:40 Noone at front desk, keys left tape to windows door, light at vanity busted rooms seem renovated clean and comfortable beds, the place at night is too dark. Makes it difficult to locate it seems unsafe without light at office, breakfast was somehow acceptable I would recommend it with caution

The breakfast bar had a stick of butter and open jars of jelly, Nutella, etc. for use by everyone. Not hygienic - other establishments offered theirs in single-use, sanitary packets for their guests.

I got there an hour before check in i ask if could check in early they asked me to pay 35 dollars just for that which i didn't pay i rather to wait ans walk around that area

Our room had a hole in the bathroom ceiling, the drain plug in the bathtub was broken and didn’t work properly, it was obvious from the damage that it had been left repaired for a while.

My wife and I found this great little surprise by accident--we had decided to stay another night on the central coast and Cayucos and Cambria were all booked up. Headed north and searched San Simean hotels and this one popped up--with one room left. We reserved it online and arrived about ten minutes later. We were very pleasantly surprised by the very cute, (we believe) recently renovated Roadhouse. Check in was easy and service was quite friendly and accomodating. Our king bed room was absolutely huge! I've been in much more expensive suites that were not as large. Refrigerator, TWO microwaves, a nice futon, chairs, large TV...would be a great room for a traveling family with kids. The room was spotless and the bed quite comfortable. Simply could not ask for more. We will definitely return as we now have a nice little "secret" place to stay away from the noise and bustle of those better-known towns further south.

Our kids found two razor blades on the balcony. Luckily, no one was hurt. They need to be more thorough inspecting the balconies before letting guests in.

The property is being updated and that's the good news. The biggest issue for me was the fact that we came to the hotel our room was not ready. It was after 5 pm. We uav kids and we are tired. To make things worse we were sent to the second floor three times with different keys just to find out that different rooms were not ready. The nail in the coffin was no remorse. No "sorry". No "we apologize" and no " how can we make it better"

It was HORRIBLE!! The room was dirty! The floor and the bed was not clean!!! The service was terrible. They yelled at us for calling at night and didn’t want to help. They changed the sheets only after we said we will not sleep like that. We were so mad we didn’t even had breakfast there.
