Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"Property is right in the heart of Hahndorf. We were given an upstairs apartment. Not the best if you have large suitcases. The stairway is inside the apartments. Lovely shower although our showerhead needed a good clean and descale. Otherwise all good. Have stayed before and would stay again in a downstairs apartment."

"The property is tastefully decorated but needs a handyman to spend a day making sliding doors slide and replacing the shower head. Unfortunately the air conditioning is almost useless on the upper floor. We stayed on a very hot day and night and the apartment really needs an air conditioner on the top floor.
