"Good house for a big group. Excellent service when help was needed.Kitchen had only 7 coffee cups, refrigerators were terribly gross and so was the grill. So I recommend that you consider a new cleaning company.Also, having dark drapes for the bedrooms would provide a better sleep for everyone."

"It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. "

"This condo's location was excellent...a semi-oceanfront unit with a large space for 4 adults. The beds were comfy and the condo met all our needs. Because the beach at The Point is incredibly wide, the haul from the condo to the water's edge (we tried both beach accesses) took 8 minutes so be sure to pack what you need for your day on the beach. Love that it's not crowded whatsoever!"
Island Retreat, The Ultimate Emerald Isle Getaway!

"For over 50 years my extended family has gathered for a week at Emerald Isle. This was our first time staying in the house and it was perfect for our family of 6. The house was well maintained and the front porch was a great place to enjoy the breeze. The furnishings were nice and beds were comfortable. One thing to note is that the kitchen has very limited cookware and absolutely no cooking items so be sure to bring all of your seasonings including salt and pepper! It wasn’t a problem. Just a good thing to know before arriving. We will definitely stay here again in future family trips to the area!"

"Overall it was a great stay, only one hiccup though out the whole trip was an error on check out times listed on VRBO. The place was very clean and you can tell the owner has put a lot of time into keeping it that way. We were greeted with a lovely candy care package. "

"Ideal location within easy walking distance to the beach. The Point is amazing for sunsets. Included golf cart is a huge plus especially for the kiddos - they loved it! They also loved the hammock chairs on the porch out front.Nice big kitchen with gas grill out back. Comfy living room and beds. Random 2nd bathroom is clutch for private toilet sessions.Host Melissa was very responsive and helped us out with a beach umbrella for our stay. She responded promptly to my messages and helped facilitate our beach experience!Would definitely recommend this property and go back again!"

"Just love the sweet village of Swansboro, the Sunday evening concert was a great ending to nice stay, the State Rooms have best seats for Bandstand!On another note, the hair dryer does not work. I was disappointed that no TV OTHER THAN STREAMING WAS AVAILABLE. I did not bring passwords etc. Basic TV is minimal in my opinion. A special alert of this prior to departing for trip would have made me bring passwords."
