Overall, my family had a great time on this trip, and my kids absolutely loved the property. Yes, the decor is dated, but that was pretty nostalgic for me. It felt like staying at my grandma's house. However, those beds need some major upgrades. They were very, very firm. Besides the beds, the home could do with some routine maintenance and upkeep. Pest control is necessary to keep the outdoor bugs from coming in so much.

The house was fine.. VRBO service was the WORST
I will probably NEVER use VRBO again ... when I tried to check in to get instructions for address and check in. I tried 18 yes EIGHTEEN of the codes you sent to my email to VERIFY me .. and 18 yes EIGHTEEN times it said INVALID CODE!!!!!!! Only my God helped me... I contacted a friend who lives near by to help me find who owned and how to get in. OTHERWISE i would have sent my payment and had NO idea where to go or how to get in. Your "service" was AWFUL!! I will use any other before I try VRBO again .. NO way to find help.. no phone number no anything.. Except taking my money and confirming my reservation with NO WAY TO contact ......

Beeville Wedding - corpus lake
This was a great house for our family and allowed is to attend a local wedding. This was a 35-40 minute drive to Beeville which only offered hotels/motels. This house fit our entire family and allowed enough space to host a couple family evening. The owner was available and responded to early concerns of having an iron for our formal attire. Thank you so much and we recommend the property.

Great location, home needs a lot of work
This home sits in a great location, right on the lake. It appears the owners put in a new dock, but it wasnt really usable due to the lake being low. Check in was easy, communication with the owner was great but the home is very dated and needs a good cleaning. The home looks like a time capsule of the 1980's and hasnt been updated since then, there were stains in the carpet, dead bugs behind doors, the towel rack in the master bath was falling off, all of the appliances were probably 20 years old if not older. The bed in the masterbedroom felt like sleeping on a board. This home has the potential to be really nice, but it needs updating and needs to be cleaned. Water pressure in the materbath was very weak, even the blinds were damaged.

We just enjoyed this place so much. Great quiet area to relax, and to enjoy the large backyard with lots of shade and the pier in back. So nice. Will be back.

Plenty of room for everyone!
I dont always write a review for places but I wanted to make sure I did on this property mainly because they did not have any reviews when I booked. We were very happy with our stay and with 3 bedrooms there was plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably. We had 8 adults and 1 toddler. I packed and brought things i did not need because I was not sure what was already at the property. Such as pillows, blankets, dishes, cookware etc. but there was plenty of everything. Never unpacked most of my things I brought. The property had all the basics plus some. I only wish we would have had more time to enjoy our stay, before we knew it it was time to go home. We will definitely stay again and would recommend to others. It was a great price and a good size. The host was very nice and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay and was always available when I called with any questions.
