As retuning guests for many years, we have always enjoyed our stay, whether it’s been sunny or wet.
We love the location, close to beaches for the children. Always plenty of activities too. Owners very welcoming and friendly.

Booking was easy, travel directions were clear and the farmhouse was impeccably clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed for a weekend stay and the sitting room was lovely and snug with the log-burner lit. We would definitely consider coming again, perhaps for longer next time.

Little Mersley Farmhouse
We all enjoyed our stay at Little Mersley Farmhouse, celebrating a 30th Birthday. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and it worked perfectly. Melanie was brilliant, always happy to answer any questions. The wood fired hot tub was great to relax in at the end of a day. The breakfast at the farm was so tasty! Would definitely recommend, couldn’t fault it.

Great family holiday
The Garlic Farm accommodation proved to be the right choice for our first visit to the Isle of Wight. The three houses we chose worked really well for our family group of 15 and all were comfortable and well equipped. We did have some issues with the heating system in the Little Mersley Farmhouse but these were resolved quickly. Everyone enjoyed the tennis court and the games room and the children had fun on the play area. We all eat in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Everyone agreed that it was a great holiday and that we will return.

Great stay at Little Mersey Farmhouse and Mill Cottage
We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse and also the Cottage for our extended family of 15. The 7 sporty grandchildren loved the tennis court, football pitch and games room and the hot tub was in constant use. Although the weather was windy it was very sheltered in the valley where the Garlic Farm is situated. Both properties were very well equipped and had comfy beds. We booked a table at The Pointer Inn nearby for late Saturday lunch which we all enjoyed. Thanks for a great stay!

Magical stay
I recently hired the Garlic Farm accommodation for my 40th birthday celebration. The Accommodation team were brilliant at helping us put on an amazing event and catering to our guest’s individual needs. Friends and family members having been raving about the experience in the weeks afterwards. The site is stunning, there are plenty of activities for children and adults and the accommodation is very well maintained. The communal yurt proved to be a real hub of fun and activity throughout our weekend. We will not hesitate to book again.

Fantastic stay for a large group of 17 family and friends
We rented the Farmhouse and 2 cottages for 4 nights and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The accommodation is lovely and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, making cooking easy if you're eating in, and there are also some great local restaurants, particularly The Pointers, for eating out. There are some nice signposted walks on the farm and the Games Room with table tennis, pool, table football and jenga was a big hit with everyone. Good location for visiting; Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor, Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, all of which we enjoyed. The efficient, friendly team provided great service during booking and ensured we had an easy, relaxing stay. We will definitely return and highly recommend staying at the Garlic Farm.

All good and a wonderful location
Great accommodation for us comprising of 6 adults and 2 children and a lovely setting with a large peaceful garden. The Garlic restaurant was a boon being at the same location. One of the bedrooms did not have anywhere to hang clothes which were then just laid on the other single bed which was not being used - not too much of a problem. Space was limited in that room but some wall/ door hooks would have sufficed with a few coat hangers - just a suggestion. Extensive information provided beforehand concerning cafes, restaurants, attractions etc. - most helpful.

Wonderful cottage in a great location
This cottage was excellent for us. We visited for a weekend with three generations of our family, 6 people in total. The youngest has the rooms on the tops floor, the eldest had the lovely bedroom on the ground floor, so no stairs. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could want. The lounge is cosy and comfortable. The dining room has two tables so we used one to eat at and the other for playing games. We didn’t use the garden as we visited in February but it was a good size. Being located at the Garlic farm was great as it felt out of the way but with central access to all of the Isle of Wight. The Garlic farm was lovely and meeting peacocks in the grounds was very nice. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

A great summer week for our family
Our family stayed for a week in Little Mersley Farmhouse and Mill Cottage. It was delightful. The properties were close and this was very convenient. The children enjoyed the hot tub and loved playing in the garden and seeing the horses in their stables. We all enjoyed the games room and being able to walk all around the far. The tractor tour was very interesting. Bothe properties were comfortable, had ample bathrooms and good sitting room. We went to the restaurant one night and all enjoyed that. With so many attractions within 15 minutes it was so easy to find stuff to do, even though our weather wasn't great. All in all it would have been hard to beat

Garlic Farm Accomodation
I have discovered my most favourite place on earth! I love the garlic farm. I have stayed at in the garlic farm accomodation twice now, the first time in their milking parlour with 4 friends and this time in the farmhouse with 7 friends. I cannot fault the staff or the accommodation. Booking is easy, communication is always spot on and any difficulties are worked through without fuss. The farmhouse was beautiful, clean and homely. Beds and bedding comfortable and towels were all provided and a good size. Melanie popped in to check everything was to our satisfaction when we arrived. The staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you during your stay and the food in the restaurant is gorgeous. I have never had a disappointing trip to the garlic farm restaurant and I cannot fault the accommodation. I would highly recommend a visit. This has become our regular annual girlie weekend which kicks off the festive season perfectly.

Amazing little cottage
Booked to stay at the garlic farm for a little weekend break. We booked the little Mersley cottage. Sleeps 10 however we just had 4 adults. Wow what an amazing cosy cottage. We arrived later than expected, but the cottage was open for us. And little welcome gift of chutney and garlic from the farm. The cottage was very well equipped with all the essentials we needed including bedding and towels, shampoo and body wash, toilet rolls, kitchen well equipped with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk in the fridge. Plenty of wood for the wood burner, which we had on both nights: We hired the wood burning hot tub which was so lovely and relaxing. We had breakfast on site in the restaurant both days. Great choice of food and a visit to the shop also where we stocked up on delicious goodies to take home. We had a late check out of 11am on the Sunday morning, which was great as we didn’t feel rushed to get out of the cottage early. I would definitely recommended staying in this wonderful cottage.

A brilliant stay at fabulous accommodation
Whether you’re looking for a quiet break or hosting a party of 12 this is the place to stay. The cottages and main house are fabulous, there is a shop and restaurant on site with plenty of beautiful walks in the area and there is even a wonderful wood fired hot tub! If you decide to stay, you have to try the famous cooked breakfast in the restaurant!! Simply delicious!! Would recommend and we will definitely return again.

Perfect stay for a family celebration.
Very comfortable farmhouse accommodation full of character. Main bedroom with en-suite on the ground floor for anyone who might find the rather steep staircase a little challenging. Dogs can be safely let off the lead in the fully enclosed cottage garden. Well equipped kitchen perfect for anyone wishing to eat in. Plenty of interesting walks on and around the farm. This place has a lot of history, not just about garlic, interesting though that is. Take a look at the stone age finds on display in the farm shop.

Lovely family break
Family holiday with grandparents, parents and kids - this property suited us all. Loved the hot tub and the garlic farm activities. There were ten of us and we had just enough space - we were lucky with the weather and spent lots of time exploring the island. Property was clean and well-equipped.

Magical stay at a great place.
The Garlic Farm was a perfect place for a holiday. The accommodation was lovely, clean and with everything we could possibly want or need - and if we didn't fancy cooking, the cafe and restaurant provided wonderful garlic-infused taste sensations. All the staff were friendly and welcoming which made for a very happy stay all round. The Garlic Farm is also perfectly situated to explore the Island's delights and we had a great time exploring beautiful beaches, historic castles, churches and houses and breathtaking walks with stunning views of the lovely countryside and coastline.

A family holiday with a difference
A beautiful historic cottage with modern amenities. Traditional cottage flowers abound the location while a large secluded back garden provided lots of space for children to play safely and adults to socialise. The hot tub was an advantage but a little cool.. The kitchen was fully equipped and in good condition. The dining area is light and airy. A lovely setting with activities, all within a short distance of the cottage. The Garlic Restaurant provides delicious food by friendly staff-it gets busy! It has been a real pleasure staying in the Little Mersley Cottage and a big thanks goes to Melanie who helped us throughout the booking process and travel arrangements. Thank you to all concerned!
