The apartment, being brand new, was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and convenient stay.Location: The cottage is perfectly situated, allowing us to easily walk to the Farmers Market, City Beach, and a variety of charming restaurants and breweries.Amenities: Mindy has truly thought of everything. Mindy and David’s place is incredible, and having them as hosts made it an even BETTER experience. They are so kind, understanding, communicative and detail-oriented. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth. Whenever we needed anything or help figuring out appliances, they were on it. Their kindness and generosity towards us and our dogs is forever appreciated, and made an huge and positive impact on our busy weekend during a family wedding. Their space is so beautiful! The touches of design and intentionality is amazing and definitely was an upscale experience. It had everything we needed and more. It is in such a wonderful, quiet and convenient location, within walking or biking distance from everything that Sandpoint has to offer. We loved how bright, airy and cozy it all was. Perfect Location for Lost in the Fifties
We came to Sandpoint to help out as volunteers for the Lost in the Fifties weekend. This was a perfect place to stay because we could walk to town and enjoy all the events. The “Sandpoint Cottage” was a great place to stay and the owners were great at communicating and responding to any questions that we had. We highly recommend this gem!

This was not a quiet cottage. Located in the alley it was not described and hadno private space for dogs. This was nicely built but it should have let the guest know it was three levels which made it a PAIN to bring in luggage. As soon as I drove in I was chased down by the neighbors dog who jumped the fence. Property owner was out of town and had dog/house sitter but this was not divulged. Instead automatic emails were sent saying they were right next door and would ensure a 5 start stay. Their own dog barked through the night and into the morning. Due to the owners absence she was unable to answer my emails attentively. She described that it was apparent their dog/house sitter was not doing their job which I did not see as my problem. I was unable to stay there for any point in time as anytime I was there the dog stayed in the back yard barking the entire time. I let Mindy know I should not have to pay to not be able to sleep and she was only willing to refund me all but the first two nights. Even though I let her know I did not sleep and could not even stand to be there due to her dog. I have still not seen a refund for the remainder of our stay and still do not believe we should have to pay for any of it. Worst experience ever!

First time exploring the area- wish we had longer! Mindy & family have a beautiful space here and we enjoyed use of their bikes and recommendations for meals, sights, & hikes! Pack light since it’s 15 stairs to living room/ kitchen and another 15 stairs to bath & bedroom. (Where the TV is)

Our family was looking for a place that had location, walk score, close-by adventures, beauty within walking distance, beauty, and privacy for our son and his bride. Minday's cozy cottage was just the thing. The kids had privacy, local adventure, a chance to cook at "home", comfortable hang-out space, and just time to enjoy each other free of all the wedding preparations. Mindy was an amazing host. She was super helpful when we were setting things up, made sure to connect with the kids when they were on their way, and followed up to be sure that all was going well. They both told the family that they had an amazing time, appreciated the location, and loved this first chapter of their new life together. Thanks Minday for the cozy cottage!
