Welcome to Sandy Toes Cottage at Lake Weir in the quaint little town of Ocklawaha, Fl. Steps away from Lake Weir, you can relax and unwind on the beach or bring your Boat, Jet Ski, Canoe or Kayak. We are walking distance to Gator Joe's Restaurant, 3 miles to Carney Island & 7 miles to Eaton's Beach/Restaurant, 12 miles to Santos Trail Head for the mountain bike enthusiasts. Stay with us & enjoy the beach life! Dogs are welcome (per stay fee required) max 2. (sorry no cats). No large gatherings please. Outdoor Ring camera on premise.

When I booked I didn’t even realize it’s walking distance to gator joes. The place was nice clean and stocked with more necessities than most places I’ve stayed at. Loved the board games as well.

Cozy cottage north of the Villages
The cottage was clean, organized, and well put together. We didn't even use the second bedroom because the one bedroom had two twins, but this cottage could easily sleep 4. The location was a little more removed that I would have liked (Ocklawaha is basically a one-stop light town), and there was some noise from being so close to Gator Joe's, but it was still a nice, quiet location.

The hosts go out of their way to make the accomodations are clean and tidy. The beds were excellent ( a big deal to us). Washer and Dryer on premises is a big plus. The internet was fast and good for streaming. Very pleased @

We loved our stay at Sandy Toes! The owners gave detailed instructions before we arrived, and were responsive to my questions about checking in late, and they even left lights on for our arrival. The cottage was clean, bright, comfortable, and well organized with everything we needed. We were visiting family in Wildwood, and this location was about 20 easy min away. The beach was very close, and offered beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and even a view of rocket launches in the distance. The area was quiet, and Gator Joes had great food and entertainment options. This is a great location for any visitor coming to the area, and we look forward to returning next year.

Lovely cottage
We stayed at Sandy Toes with our 2 young adult children and their partners. While it was only a 2 bedroom, there was plenty of space for everyone to relax on the couches at the end of the day and the kids loved hanging in the bedroom together since they don't see each other as often as they like. It was like a sleepover party! It was raining so we didn't spend any time at the beach but we were there for a family reunion in the area so wouldn't have anyway The cottage is extremely well appointed and charming. We'd definitely recommend!

Quaint & Homey
The house was very clean and great lighting with all the windows. It was easy to move around in and loved the walk in shower. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was open floor plan. I am 80+ and everything was spacious and had that vacation feel. Would rent again & owners were very nice!
