Alderwood lake house Sanford/Orlando near SFB

Our lovely home overlooks Lake Ada in Sanford, Florida. This lake is a hidden gem just 10 minutes drive to Sanford International Airport SFB. Cozy and comfortable setting, in the midst of all that Sanford has to offer.

This comfortable home updated laminate floors, a large master suite with private bathroom. This is a split bedroom plan with the master on the opposite side of the home as the other bedrooms for added privacy. There are two full bathrooms and a nice screened porch overlooking the lake.

There are two flat screen smart TV's in the home. One in the family room and one in the master bedroom. We have many local channels available via antenna along with Netflix and many other viewing options available through the smart TV. You are also welcome to watch movies that we keep on site.

Perfect location that fits all our needs. Went to Sanford for a soccer tournament and was able to go back to the house to relax and even caught 2 fish! There were 7 of us and we had so much fun and plenty of room to spread out. Will go again if we are able.

Perfect place for our stay!
We came up for a family wedding, location was just 12 minutes away so that was great! The place was perfect for our stay, we made a weekend out of it and drove a short 30 min to blue springs which was amazing! Backyard has a beautiful lake view, we even had dinner out on the dock one night! Host was super accommodating and we had everything we needed. Would stay again if we’re ever back in the area!

Beautiful lake view. Enjoyed sitting at the dining set on the dock or in the screened porch. Movies, books and more amusements available. Look through all unlocked closets and cabinets on arriving if your’re a planner like I am.

Cute house, very relaxing
We really enjoyed our stay while we were in town for a baseball tournament. It was very nice to unwind on the dock and screened in porch after a long day at the ballpark. Wonderful Lake House
We had a great stay at Jay and Theresa’s lake house in Sanford over 4th of July. The house was clean and stocked with everything needed for our stay. Communication was immediate and the lake view was incredible. We travel to Sanford a few times a year to watch our son play baseball at Boombah and we will be looking to boom this property every visit moving forward.

A Nice Escape
The Lake House provided a nice, quiet escape from the maddening crowds. I'm sure it's busier at other times of the year, but these days the entire neighborhood was very peaceful. The house is spacious and well-equipped. Jay was easy to reach and quick to respond. Would stay again.

Beautiful home
My boys (13 & 11) and I enjoyed spending a few days at this beautiful lake home. We came during the ‘social distancing’ and it made it so much easier to have a place of our own with access to the lake. Jay was great about replying back when I had a question. Love this place and will try and stay again when we come back to town!

Outstanding Home and Location
This is a great property on a beautiful lake with easy access to all major toll roads and interstates. The dock is beautiful and I spent many hours there making memories with my sons fishing. It’s a wonderful home with sleep number beds in the master and 1 of the quest rooms. Jay is very attentive and easy to communicate with. It’s out second time staying in one of his places and I’m sure there will be more to come.

Christmas on the Lake
This home is exactly what we needed as we celebrated the holidays with my brother who lived nearby. The owners were great communicators, the house had everything we needed ( including plenty of dishes bowls etc as we ate at the house often). The boys fished a few days and had some luck the 2 nd day catching bass. It’s a 40 yr old house with new floors, paint, and shower heads, but everything worked well. The covered dock is beautiful. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of hot water for showers. Bring nightlights if you walk around at night, it’s pretty dark. We’d stay here again!

Wonderful home, quiet neighborhood
Our stay was wonderful. Very quiet neighborhood. Shopping, dining and attractions are all within a short drive. The lake and dock are a great way to end the night. Property owner is very responsive. The house is in good shape, was very clean and well stocked with the every day things you'll need. The Roku and smart tvs make it very easy to sign in to your streaming accounts versus trying to learn the local channels, but he's got the over-the-air channels as well. Overall, we were very happy with our time at the house. Easy to give this one 5 stars
