At looks as though you are going to the restaurant Riccardo's and not hotel piz as the name of the restaurant is more prominent. "The hostel room is clean and spacious. But there is no elevator. It is difficult to carry the luggage upstairs. I am a senior and the room is on the 3rd floor. When I asked the manager whether the seniors can get the rooms on 1st floor. She said no and we can get rooms with elevator in a more expensive hotel."

"The location is great! The check in was one hour later than stated so we had to hang around the hotel opposite for a couple of hours with our luggage. Also, it was difficult to communicate with the host as there was no English. The second bedroom is small and really only suitable for children. The host was very kind to allow us a late check out. TV did not work so we could not get Apple TV or Netflix working. Overall ok but could have been better."

"On the positive the room was clean, the bed comfortable, nice bathroom and came with a kitchen. It's situated directly across the lake from the train station with great walks starting just along the street. It wasn't so good on the little things that you would normally expect; no hand soap, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee, etc. Personally, given that it came with a kitchen, I would expect a few basics items such as condiments and paper towels.
