"This hotel and it's staff are phenomenol. Although the area of town is considered "unsafe" and we were warned a couple of time by taxi drivers that "it is not a safe part of town, be careful!" we never once had an issue in this area of Barcelona. Beatiful hotel and we loved the surrounding area with the plentiful restraunts, especially a "cervecería" almost directly accross the street. This hotel has a roof-top bar that we went to every night. Again, phenomenal service and beautiful hotel. Do not put off by the "seedy" area reviews."

"The hotel was great - it was in La Rambla not far from the cruise shuttle bus drop off. The only downside which was nothing to do with the hotel but there is some roadworks directly outside. However the hotel itself and staff were great being very helpful with eating suggestions and booking taxis to the airport. "

"We stayed at hotel arc la Rambla 4 nights.the hotel is at the top of the Rambla near the marina so nice walking. The rooms are clean but small .beds comfortable Nice showers.i would recommend reserving one of the 4 suites for more room.the staff are very friendly and helpful.the metro is very close by "
