"We spent a week at this lovely property outside Barcelona. A wonderful space with antique furniture and fantastic outdoor areas (2). The place was very clean, the host was very thorough with check-in, and gave us tips for restaurants and taking the train into Barcelona. We had a rental car and worried about parking but it was nearby and cheap. The only two minor negatives were that there was no shower, just a tub, and the WiFi signal is fairly weak. "This property was outstanding! We came with 9 adults to (3)race/(6)cheer at Ironman Calella-Barcelona 2024. This property allowed for racers to have their own room/bed. 4 full bathrooms with showers was great too. The spacious kitchen/eating area/ living room was fantastic…fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, plates, appliances, etc so we did a lot of our own cooking. Location was key!! We were an easy 10 min walk (if that) to EVERYTHING…grocery stores, shops, train station, beach, and race...

"Loved this home. It was quite a hassle to get help getting inside, and I stood outside for over an hour in the heat waiting. Eventually, the owner sent a neighboring friend to help who was extremely nice. Home is beautiful to see, but if you don’t speak Spanish, communication will be very difficult (obviously this is not a complaint, you’re staying in Spain after all!) I’d come again if not travelling alone. "

"The appartment is a part of the main building where the owners family are living. This was a surprise but the family is very friendly and helpsom, although not quite fluent in english. The house location is by a quiet country road with forrest nearby and smaller villages. Not many good restaurants we could find. It would have been more enjoyable if there was more privacy. Llegamos avisando con antelación y cuando quisimos ponernos en contacto con ella porque no nos recibió nadie para darnos las llaves no contestó ni por llamada ni wpp. Solo conseguimos hablar con ella después de llamar al servicio de atención al cliente, pero después de decir que iba ya a darnos las llaves apagó el teléfono y nunca apareció, toda una estafa. Ahora estamos a la espera de que nos devuelvan el dinero de la reserva."
