Not comfortable as far as sleep goes; incredibly stiff bed and noticibly old pillows. But the room was clean, check in was easy, the tv worked, and it was sufficient for a short stay. Obviously older facilities and not much for amenities.

when we checked into this hotel we realized very quickly that the room was not as advertised. It was extremely dirty: there was hair in the beds indicating that the sheets had not been changed, stains on the bedsheets, pillows, towels, and chair that looked like blood, bodily fluid, and mascara, and food splatter in the microwave. The room also advertises soundproof rooms and blackout curtains, neither of which is true. The room was incredibly noisy and bright. We were awoken at 6AM to light flooding the room and to the sounds of other guests moving around in their rooms and outside of our door. there was also severe water damage in the bathroom, no batteries in the smoke alarm, and no peephole in our door. We felt unsafe falling asleep in this room as we would have had no way of knowing if there was a fire while we were sleeping and no way of comfortably identifying people at our door. Unfortunately, we checked in at almost midnight and had no other options for accommodation. We slept in our clothes on top of beach towels and checked out the next morning without completing our reservation. I am appalled at the conditions of this hotel and feel the listing is EXTREMELY misleading. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place is packed with charm and character. It may be an older property, but it is very clean, well maintained and very quiet. Full of trees and landscape, it feels like home away from home. The restaurants and stores are not really walkable but all within a 5 min drive.

It’s wasn’t the nicest hotel room I’ve stayed in but it was clean, quiet and perfect for nights rest and clean shower. I checked in very late, 10:30 pm, the place was quiet and I felt safe. The area is nice and there is a circle K gas station next door. Easy to fill up and grab coffee and continue our trip early morning.

It is an older property so not fancy, but it has had some good refurbishing. For my husband and I, it was a good price to pay in an area that was conveniently located for us. We used it as a central place to be for doing things in Lompoc, Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara and Ventura during the 3 nights we stayed there. We mainly needed a more affordable place to sleep as we were gone during each day and it was perfect for that. Loved having a small refrig, a microwave and a small table with 2 chairs so we could eat some of our food there comfortably. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Having a room in the back of the building on 2nd floor seemed safer & more secure. Our room was clean & we enjoyed the soft towels. The bed was a little soft in the middle & hard on the edges, but we slept ok. Liked the shutters on the windows & smooth flooring. Close to stores & gas stations & places to eat which was another bonus. We will go back there again in the future when we are in the area.
