Spacious and comfortable 50 year old home in downtown HISTORIC Santa Clara, Utah with a private, indoor, heated pool. A few miles out of downtown St. George, comes with everything you need for your home away from home stay * Exclusive use of the home & pool * 3 bd/2.5 bth w/ laundry-kitchen-dining-living room-gaming area * Sleeps up to 10 * Free-high speed Wifi-300 mbps * Roku and Smart TV * Patio area-to eat, relax, read, stargaze or bbq * Parking for 4 vehicles * Near Tuacahn & Snow Canyon.

You will never want to leave this cottage in the quaint downtown Santa Clara area. Enough space for everyone to spread out and play. With an indoor, heated pool and a garage game room with hoop shoot and ping pong, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. (No added fees for heated pool up to 85 degrees).

3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and a well situated living, dining and kitchen area, and game room, our home will sleep up to 8 adults and several young children comfortably. See bed breakdown below. Also see home layout in photos.

This spacious and tastefully decorated home is located in Historic Downtown Santa Clara right on Santa Clara Drive. Situated just behind it on the property is a pool house with its very own indoor, heated pool exclusively for our guests use only. This is a PRIVATE POOL-NOT A SHARED POOL! We also provide puddle jumpers, life jackets and lots of pool toys for guest use and they are sanitized after each stay.

Swiss Corner is minutes from downtown St. George, Snow Canyon State Park, Tuacahn-Center for the Arts, 9 championship golf courses, Sand Hollow State Park, Gunlock and so much more. Movara Fitness Resort is just minutes away. Sand Hollow Aquatic Center and the Santa Clara Library are just around the corner.

Is gambling your thing? It's just a quick jaunt around Utah Hill (the back way) to Mesquite where you can visit one of three Casinos, enjoy fantastic buffets, play BINGO, Keno, Black Jack, Craps, Sports Betting, the hole 9 yards. Or just go as far as the tiny corner of Arizona where you can buy your PowerBall or MegaMillions tickets. Las Vegas, Nevada is only a two (2) hour drive from the Swiss Corner Cottage. 124 miles

Parking for up to 3 vehicles in the driveway and along the west side of the home on Heights drive. We are available before, during and after your stay for any questions or concerns you may have about your home away from home.

Swiss Corner is 10 minutes from Snow Canyon State Park and 1 hour to Zion National Park. Movara Fitness Resort is within 3 miles.

Hop on the bike/running trail and ride straight to Snow Canyon or take a jaunt up the hill to Canyon View park where you will find great dog walking trails, baseball and soccer fields, sand volleyball, pickleball/tennis courts, a pavillion, and playground.

Ivins reservoir is 5.5 miles up the road. Drive or ride a bike to this great swimming hole. Kayak, fish or relax on the sandy beach.

Harmons is 2.5 miles away where you can stock up on groceries, snacks and drinks or pick up a hot and ready lunch. Great coffee bar, eclectic atmosphere and occasional live music by local artists. Other great local grocery stores include Lin's and Albertsons. Bishop's, Pizza Factory and Xetava Gardens Cafe are some great local options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Easy access to anywhere in the area. Hop on your bikes and be on a bike trail in minutes. Bring your street legal ATV and drive it two minutes down the road to some fun off road trails. Walk up the street 2 blocks and jump on the city bus, or call an Uber to pick you up and take you to the grocery store or across town to some local favorite pub or restaurant.

This home is located on a bustling downtown street and the yard is not fully fenced. Please understand that small children should always be supervised while swimming in the pool house and/or playing in the yard.

Home for Christmas
Fantastic. We loved it here. The heated pool was much loved. We have stayed at a lot of places in St. George. Many of them have community outdoor pools, but going to them in December for our annual St. George Christmas trip is usually reduced to our kids begging to go to the pool and we sit in the hot tub for 10 minutes once. This time we swam every day. We loved it. The home is cute and perfect for our family of five. Melanie was a great host. We have never had a Christmas tree during our Christmas trip and Melanie had one set up for us when we arrived. The home is cozy and we loved being there.

Great house!
House was roomy. It sits on a busy street that is noisy but that's about the only downside. Most VRBO's that we have stayed in have more staple items in the pantry and fridge so you don't have to purchase them for one time use but it looks like they clean out everything between stays so be prepared to purchase everything that you need. Property manager is very friendly and responds if needed.

The Swiss Cottage had everything we needed for more than a week in St. George. It took us no time to be comfortable and when some of us got sick for a few days, we didn't mind not being able to go anywhere because there was plenty to entertain ourselves with "at home." We enjoyed trying out different restaurants and even having food delivered a few times. It was a very pleasant experience overall.

We had a great experience at the Swiss Corner Cottage! The property was spacious and had everything that we needed to stay entertained all weekend. You can tell that Melanie is very thoughtful and tries to make it as comfortable as possible. She was super responsive with all of our questions and came right over when we discovered the propane in the grill was out! This property also has an EV charger which made our stay even easier! This was a great place to stay. Location is right on a rather busy road, so that’s the only thing I wasn’t aware of, but the access to the pool more than made up for it. Perfect home for the family with plenty to do without having to wander outside. Plenty of places to sit and relax or spend time with others. Washer, dryer, coffee maker, dishes, separate pool towels and shower towels came in real handy.

Perfect property, excellent host!
We stayed here as a home base for exploring Zion National Park and surrounding areas. The home was exactly as described. We liked that it was in the middle of town and had easy access to many different locations. They made good use of the space and we were able to fit our family with no problems. Our kids loved the pool--in fact, we had to rearrange our plans to leave them more room to play! There were plenty of dishes and the kitchen was well stocked. Also plenty of linens and toys and games for kids. We never needed to contact the host during our stay, but were in contact before and after and she was quick to respond. We would love to come back soon and continue to explore. Our only complaint was that we didn't make the reservation long enough--we weren't ready to leave yet!
