"Had a fantastic family getaway in Villa Camaleon 27th Dec 2024-1st Jan 2025. The villa is up on a hill overlooking the coast, well situated with pretty Italian Cypress trees along the driveway. Completely private, feels remote but has a nice little neighbourhood on the hillside which feels safe. Pack a torch for evening walks. The road up is a single track with pull in areas, we enjoyed the track up and down for the views, if you're an experienced driver no issue, if less so, just take it...

"We booked this stay for ONE REASON, it said they had a washer and dryer. We knew we would be doing a lot of activities and we would need to wash our laundry. However, we find out that they have a dryer that is not for our use, we had to climb two flights stairs to hang our clothes on the clothesline. And we only find out when we washed our clothes at 10pm thinking we would be able to wear them that night. Anyways, the property is very nice and spacious. Perfect if you have a rental car."

"This pretty old villa is ideally located on the main road between beautiful Frigiliana and bustle Nerja. Ideally located within up hill walking distance to romantic Frigiliana which hosts many lovely restaurants, or an easy 10 min downhill bus ride to Nerja. "This Villa is much larger than the photos convey. The property itself was great value for money, however the owner really needs to invest a little money in places. Some of the tiles in the pool came loose. "A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The service from staff has been exemplary, with particular regard for David (in the restaurant) and Sequoia (uncertain spelling, on reception). They, and others have been great advisers to first-time visitors. Other staff were excellent in minor interactions. Our only complaint would be about the delay with check-in procedures, but that was soon dismissed by us. We will be back... Even fellow clients are worthy of mention, particularly Dermot and Patricia from Leinster, Ireland "
