Beachfront Condo with Spectacular View

The unobstructed view of the ocean waves takes your breath away from the moment you walk through the front door. Let’s face it, that’s what you’re here for, so put your bags down, and take it in for a while from the living room or balcony. Keep an eye open for occasional sightings of an otter drifting by, dolphins riding the surf, and perhaps even whales! Enjoy the frequent visits from the sweet hummingbirds that come to drink from our feeders on the balcony. This clean and comfortable condo is located on the third floor, facing West for spectacular sunsets.

You will also enjoy the beautiful furnishings and decor in the interior of the condo during your stay. The master bedroom shares the ocean view, with access to the balcony, and has a California king size bed with a goose down mattress topper and goose down pillows. The second bedroom has two queen size beds with goose down pillows.

Take a short drive to dine out in Aptos, Capitola or Moss Landing, or grill up your own delicacies on the BBQ. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood burning fireplace, catch your favorite movie on the flat screen T.V. hooked up with cable and/or the Blu Ray DVD player, have some laughs over the plentiful stock of games, and stay connected with free Wi-Fi.

Pajaro Dunes Resort is nestled approximately 20 miles south of Santa Cruz, and 30 miles north of Monterey. Located at Sunset State Beach, you can enjoy long strolls to Manresa State Beach and beyond. Spend a fun-filled day kayaking with the otters at Moss Landing, just a ten minute drive. Boogey board, surf or fish right outside the condo. Watch the extensive variety of birds while strolling around the Shorebirds pond, or enjoy a friendly game of tennis, pickleball, or basketball on this beautiful and peaceful property.

Wonderful place to stay
Condo has a fantastic view and is well appointed for a comfortable stay (nicely furnished, kitchen set up well for meal prep, laundry and bathrooms well supplied). Sally is a great and thoughtful host. Pajaro Dunes Shorebirds is a wonderful place to stay and this is a great unit. Oh yes - play some Pickle Ball while there - it is a blast, and a lovely group frequently meets there on Saturdays that welcomes beginners.

Fantastic Location, Great Unit!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit. It is exactly as you see it in the pictures, but better—it is really a very short walk to the beach. You can watch the exquisite sunsets from the beach, the living room, or the balcony. The unit is very clean and well stocked with necessities. I found it easy to communicate with the owner, who is very pleasant. We did not want to leave!

A beautiful place to spend the holidays with our family
Sally's condo was wonderfully welcoming. The beds were comfy and the kitchen and living room had plenty of space for us to bring in our entire Christmas celebration. We especially enjoyed watching the tides come in and out and following the many friendly hummingbirds who came to the feeder on the porch. An excellent spot to renew ourselves and enjoy our family. Absolutely perfect!
Our stay at the Shorebirds was just perfect. The condo was clean, comfortable, and definitely was a home away from home. All our needs were met and then some! Sally is incredibly responsive and helpful. Waking up and walking on the beach which is just steps away was heaven. Also, being so close to Santa Cruz and Monterey, we were able to fill our days with many fun activities. We will definitely be coming back to this beautiful place!

LOVED IT!!
We didn’t want to leave! The view was amazing! Right on the beach! No road, traffic, or noise. The beach felt almost private. The condo was decorated really cute. The owner was wonderful to work with. Our 40 year old son, wife, and 7 year old granddaughter had so much they didn’t want to leave long enough to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium (which they had planned to do). This place was perfect!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4; ocean view from the family room, master bedroom, & patio. We had multiple visits from hummingbirds who came to eat from the feeders on the patio. The beach is quiet & peaceful, the condo has everything you need; very comfortable & homey. Owner is very easy to work with! We will definitely be returning on our next beach visit!

Quiet in March
This condo was clean, tidy, tastefully-decorated. Amazing view of the ocean, looking north to Santa Cruz. If it’s beach time you want, you couldn’t have a better location than Pajaro Dunes. We were here in March and there was barely anyone else here. Watched otters playing in the water from the living room on calm water days.

Seeing our family.
The condo was clean and comfortable. Very well stocked. The furnishings were very adequate. The beach was the best part of the experience. Very private and clean. We saw dolphins everyday, we saw whales on two separate occasions and a seal wandered by occasionally. All on this beach! Sally was easy to work with and very responsive. Whale Watching from the Living Room
The view from the living room is spectacular. We were able to see whales, otters, dolphins, and seals. Our walks on the beach were wonderful with very easy access. Our only disappointment was that there is no wifi even though it is listed has having secured access. We did need to conduct a little bit of business but could not due to this problem. Our host said she would look into it, but we never heard back from her and the problem was not resolved. We still had a fabulous time. This area is beautiful!

Great location, needs some attention in the condo
It was overall fine. I gave it 4 stars because: The cleaners used far too much bleach in the master bedroom shower, it was to strong - we tried airing out the room but it didn't really remove the smell. We kept the bathroom door shut, but going in there was horrible. The quilt/cover was blood stained at the top end. We stayed 2 nights and wanted to take walks and cook, relax there in the evenings, not drive out to eat. The kitchen was adequate but not great - basics like a grater, more glasses (It seemed many had been broken and not replaced), an adequate chopping knife would be good. It just seemed that more attention could be made to looking over things. It's not a cheap rental and some aspects let the place down. But the view is wonderful. Living room good. Short walk to the beach through the complex. The location is stellar. We enjoyed it despite above comments for a 2 night stay. On the way out we ate in Watsonville at an excellent Mexican restaurant, Jalisco - highly recommend it.
