Heavily recommended Arca De Noe over the more popular places around the lake. Some reviews here say they could hear Free Cervesa next door, but I couldn’t for my whole stay. It’s very quiet and very beautiful, I never felt like it was over crowded or over booked as other properties on the lake tend to be. Excellent food as well

The view was incredible. However...due to a transportation delay, we arrived 1 day later. We tried to notify the hotel, but their phone # was out of order. They did not respond to email. When we finally did arrive (note: we paid for the hotel in advance via Expedia), they had no record of the reservation or payment. After quite an argument (and we did have the printed receipt!), they gave us a room, but were incredibly, indescribably rude to us for the entirety of our stay. I've never in my life experienced such treatment. And I've never left a negative review. Until now.

There is no early check into the rooms. Staff do not respond to messages, you have to speak to them in person. They can hold your luggage if you arrive before check-in time, but beware that all your luggage and bags will be placed in an open area. The property itself is beautiful and close to the dock where the lanchas are. Little to no hot water. Little amenities.

Absolutely lovely hotel! I definitely would stay again. It’s clean, the rooms are simple but colorful and comfortable. And the views! The view of lake Atitlan and the volcanoes is stunning. The boat dock is at the hotel’s doorstep making getting around the area easy.

The view was beautiful but the inside of the room a total disgrace. Dark environment, smelly bedding and besides of the licking bathroom the worst was the MOLD around the sink there obvious, present, disgusting. They fixed the water in the middle of the bathroom but the mold was still there, untouched. I couldn’t stand to stay more than one night of five that I already paid. They said I couldn’t get a reimbursement because I used Expedia. My bad.

Hôtel au bord du lac avec une vue imprenable sur les volcans. Attention, ne faites pas comme nous qui sommes venus en 4X4. Navette en bateau impératif. Bon petit déjeuner : desayuno rancho.

Estadia Sta Cruz

No geral a estadia foi boa. No hotel tem um restaurante (mto bom), porém no primeiro dia houve uma certa resistência em aceitar o pagamento com cartão de crédito, problema solucionado no outro dia conversando com outra funcionária. O hotel fica num lugar lindo na beira do lago, otimo para nadar.. Santa Cruz la Laguna é um pueblo mais isolado, não tem mta opção de cafes e restaurantes, mas como gosto de um sossego achei ótimo. Na pousada tem tudo, fornecem até água, mas caso precise de algo mais específico, oriento levar... Amei o lugar, voltaria con certeza!!

Fue un hotel excelente tienen un restaurante, el Colibrí. El chef Antonio es maravilloso. Los platos son ricos y en buena porción. Ilia, Petrona, Vilma y Juana nos atendieron maravilloso. Creo que son los mejores de Santa Cruz

Hotel Arca de Noe is a gem. The rooms are lovely, the beds are comfortable and most important of all, Juan Carlos is an excellent manager who helps make your stay very pleasant. In addition, Hotel Arca collaborates with Tours Atitlan which offers the best tours. Lastly, the food is excellent. I did enjoy the meat and the fish dishes very much. I highly recommend this hotel.
