"The Mayan style of cabins added atmosphere. The grounds were well maintained with greenery and flowers. The pool was clean and the grounds provided a comfortable place to relax or have a snack. The restaurant's food was the best we had in the Yucatan. Our waiters were attentive and efficient. "The Lodge at Uxmal is a special place just outside the entrance to the archeological site so ideal for staying at to see the sound and light show at night. The room was comfortable and clean with nice bedding and the place is set amongst trees so there are abundant birds and nature all around. Really lovely. "Beautiful property well situated to lots of attractions (pyramids, planetarium, eco-park/museum) but the restaurant staff ranges from mostly disinterested to somewhat dishonest (pretty obviously did not bring back correct change, helping herself to a very nice tip) and as other travelers have noted elsewhere, the restaurant is overpriced for what you get. Clearly needs better management if staff is this lackluster."
