"An amazing stay at this wonderful B & B. Manuella was a great host explaining the best places to visit on Salina. The breakfasts were very good and made from local produce, with Manuella giving a detailed explanation of the produce. Room was very clean and a brilliant view from the patio where we had breakfast. "An incredible house on an incredible island. We had a lovely time staying at this beautiful house. It was well managed, had all of the cooking amenities we needed, and was a lovely place to unwind and relax. Our host made it easy to check in, going as far as having a taxi ready for us after the ferry dropped us off and offering to call us a taxi to return to the ferry. "We stayed in the old traditional Lipari home and it was absolutely beautiful. For a couple, there was nothing better than waking up to the view out over the sea in the morning as the sun was rising. The property was so quiet and peaceful too. We could have breakfast on the porch, swim and snorkel in the private rock pool and along the coast and shower outside beside the house. "Canneto is beautiful. Ristorante Meraglia on the main foreshore road is fantastic. Christiana’s property is high above the foreshore with stunning views. Access is up a very steep slope and once again I wished we packed more lightly. We had to ask for a toaster and blankets and some other things. Initially we were dealing with an agent and obtaining assistance was difficult, but then Christiana’s husband appeared from next door and it was then plain-sailing!"

"Just amazing and thanks god for Antonio, what an amazing guy -I love everything of my stay here - everything - the room is gorgeous, the flexibilities provided with everything was too notched, the terrace is fabulous , the pamper goodie bag too , the breakfast - everything - thank you Antonio - and I did your pizzeria recommendation in Catania and it was great!!! "Bright, and clean with large rooms. Solid breakfast and early, a decent dinner menu but the service was excellent. Pool is not heated, probably best for summer as we found it cold. Just up the hill from Lipari which was nice for ocean views while dining, and quietness. "

Charming Island Stay

"Charming hotel on an island hillside with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The morning buffet breakfast was all homemade with a combination of delicious eggs, smoked meats, grilled vegetables, pastries and cakes. The staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. Ben spoke four languages and made all the arrangements we needed for excursions and scooter rentals. He literally puts his whole heart into his job. We would definitely recommend staying here. On top of it, Lipari has beautiful panoramas and a castle spanning 3 different civilizations. So interesting and diverse! "

"This was a very good hotel with a lovely swimming pool and the added bonus of a jacuzzi. Cleanliness was excellent with rooms being serviced daily to a high standard. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and welcoming. The complimentary shuttle bus to the port was a nice extra."
