Babies swimming pool 😀

Friendly staff and ok service. Small rooms and old furniture. Not comfortable. On the photo the swimming pool looks large, but in reality it’s more like 2 by 4 meters. It is next to a restaurant where the music is played loud all the time.

Good place for a stop over in Santa Marta

We stayed ar Hotel San Miguel Imperial between trips to Taganga and Ciudad Perdida. The room for four we firstd was a bit small, but we then were given a larger one on the second floor. The rooftop swimming pool and surrounding lounging area are a welcoming respite from the busy pedestrian central area, only 8 blocks away. Very helpful reception staff. Three blocks away from supermarkets and cash machines. Good air conditioner! Great value for money.

No working air con, rough location

The ladies at reception were very friendly... this is the good part of the review. Our room had only one towel and one power outlet which was currently lighting two lamps. The breakfast had hot milk for the cereal and mostly unappetizing and minimal fruits/meats. I had one of the worst sleeps in a room with no air or fan to speak of. The rooms echo considerably and you can hear everything in the hallways... every door slam or conversation. That night children ran unfettered screaming for hours which was beyond frustrating. They offered to give us a room with two separate beds the next day (we are a couple) but that is not how i wanted to spend our vacation so I asked to check out. Considering we paid for 5 days in advance I asked for one day to be refunded for the night of no aircon... they refused. Don’t be fooled by the nice pics, and it’s definitely not in a great location... unless you like cemeteries.

Not recommended, not clean hotel, no hot water

Staff were trying their best to be helpful but the hotel needs serious updating. No hot water, only 1 towel for 2 people, water from taps was black and showers very poor flow. Can't understand booking.com rating of 8.4 in 2015. Breakfast is slow and not good. Seems like same staff working in a number of roles that they are not trained for

Great modern hotel with excellent service
