"We loved our time here. Close to bus stations and metro. Food is fleury. Staff is so kind. Breakfast was SO YUMMY AND BIG! Clean hotel. Trust worthy too. I heard lots of things about Barcelona and were worried. Everything is in tact. Nice and kind people. We would want to stay here again if we are ever back in Barcelona. "The hotel was very clean and was contemporary in design. It lacked some creature comforts such as tea/coffee or a chair in the room. The rooftop bar was a nice touch although a bit pricy in comparison to the local bars. Although the downtown vicinity was slightly rundown the location was good for access to much the city had to offer.,"

"I was away for my birthday weekend and had left my birthday cards out. When I came back from touring there was a note on my bed telling me to call reception for a surprise gift. "This hotel is lovely; very stylish, comfortable and very clean. The staff were always welcoming and friendly. Nice 360 views from the 11th floor bar. Great breakfast Walkable to La Ramblas. Some really nice tapas options around the hotel. Only downside; the streets around smell of pee and late night you’d not want to walk around on your own. Don’t let that put you off, Barcelona has gone down hill since I last came here, but the hotel is lush."

"Nouvel hotel had a lot of old world charm. The lobby, though small, was very welcoming as were the staff. We had a triple room three twin beds, which were very comfortable. The hotel is right off La Rambas on a quiet street. Very convenient for walking to everything. "
