"What an amazing hotel. Fantastic views and so quiet. Beautifully set up in the mountains, it's just what you want for peace and quiet. The grounds around the hotel are perfectly kept. "Was a lovely place to sleep for the night. The drive up was an eye opener but once we were there, we felt like we went back in time. Unfortunately it was raining all day so we couldn't walk the gardens or the pool but they looked amazing. "Our stay at Florence Hills and Resort was great! Service was amazing, all staff was very attentive. Nice pool size and outdoor lounging and seating area to relax after walking around Florence. The suite was comfortable and very clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. We had the ham and cheese board, the risotto with pears and almonds, and the Fiorentina aka a huge T-bone steak. Can’t forget to mention the astonishing views of the mountains, so calming!"

"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."
