"Margarida guided us right in and was a most gracious hostess. The villa was built in 1698 with a chapel and ruined convent adjacent. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. On arrival (Sat.) we were met by a pleasant young woman, who spoke no English and who took away the voucher with the owner's telephone number (my oversight, should have made a copy). "Mixed weather to start with. The land needed it badly! Took a trip back to Lisbon oceanarium on a wetter day and an evening trip to the Roman baths in Evora. Beautiful drive through the cork trees.
