"The small hotel is in Marampata, Peru, close to Choquequirao. Everything that gets to Marampata comes on a human's or mule's back on a brutally long day of hiking. "This hotel was very unique. We stayed on the 3rd floor (no elevator but that wasn’t an issue for us). We had a room with 3 beds which was very convenient for our family. The hotel itself shows its age but it was only one night so we didn’t mind. Breakfast was good, they offered eggs, coffee, cheeses and breads. Our room was a river view (while not attractive due to pollution) it was nice to have the windows open and hear the rush of water to help you sleep. The shower was also spacious. "

"We could not find the property. We got a local person affiliated with the company that we did the Inca Trail with to attempt to take us to the Hostel. The problem was that the address listed in Expedia led to an abandoned building that was being worked on. They may have had a temporary location set up, but we got locals to phone the numbers listed and there was no answer. So, we stayed at another place instead."

"We liked our stay. The bed was great. Cozy and comfortable. Loved the decor and we appreciated the nice hot shower after a long day out.
