"The road was long and windy to get there, but the welcome and beauty of the place vastly made up for it! The property is less than 30 minutes from the center of Santiago, located in a green valley. The main house dates from the early 18th century, with thick granite walls, and has been wonderfully restored with all modern comfort (including good wifi!). "Not a 5* hotel Would use it again as a good 4* hotel, clean, good location, staff are pleasant and helpful. No coffee maker or kettle in room which is strange for 5*, non of the Amenities you get at 5* hotel rooms are available in the room ! "

"A very old stone building very nicely renovated and modernized. Our room had small windows but the stone fireplace and old sink were gorgeous; the A/C worked great. We had the hotel breakfast one morning--it was fine, reasonable cost; but there are plenty of cafés nearby as well. Alda corp evidently runs several similar hotels in Santiago. "

"Unfortunately, we didn’t check to see that the pool was available to guests without a reservation. Seems strange that they highlighted photos of the pool but you have to make a reservation and pay a fee to use the pool, for a limited time. The pool and hot tub are within the Spa. Breakfast, the lounge and bar areas are beautiful, warm and friendly. This place is not within walking distance of the town and taxi services are limited.
