We spent 4 nights here for New Years before we flew to Argentina for our Antarctica expedition. It was a good choice as it was convenient to our walking tours and restaurants. The hotel was clean although the AC inside our room was a bit warm even though we ask for the temperature to be lowered. The front desk and staff were very kind and helpful. We did however, have an issue with the hotel charging $125 a person for their New Year’s party which was on the rooftop but had the basic food menu for dinner. Since there is not a fireworks display in Santiago and most places around town shut down early , we felt the hotel was taking advantage of its guests. Pair that with the event coordinator, who was extremely rude and pushy, then I would say it ruined what was otherwise a nice week stay.

Staying at Hotel Magnolia was wonderful! Staff was friendly and fun, helpful beyond measure and provided excellent service!! We walked to many attractions with ease and no safety concerns. And when we were all walked out, we enjoyed cocktails and dinner on the beautiful rooftop looking at Santa Lucia hill. Highly recommend this little gem!

Hotel Magnolia is an amazing hotel located in a beautiful neighborhood in Santiago. The staff are amazing and the hotel itself is an architectural masterpiece. The rooms are spacious, especially the shower. The rooftop bar is wonderful. I highly recommend Hotel Magnolia!

The hotel was beautiful- an old mansion wonderful restored. We loved the roof top garden and the lobby area to sit and have a glass of wine. The front desk, bell man and concierge were all excellent- very helpful, efficient, professional and with a smile. The room was very nice but the Wifi was a little iffy and the A/C quite loud. But other than that a great place to stay.

Convenient Stay in Santiago
Service was excellent in all aspects, from arranging transport from airport to rooftop bar/restaurant. Room was comfortable, shower good and provided a breakfast box as we were leaving early to airport. They are minding our bags until we return from Easter Island in 4 days time. We will stay with them again when we return.

Hotel Magnolia is a gem of a hotel. The building has beautiful touches all around.The staff were helpful and friendly (answering our questions before we checked in). The rooms were the three Cs - cozy, comfortable and clean. At times, the lighting was moody / dark but it adds to the vibe of the place. The location is great as you can walk to museums, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was included and it was decent. However the on site restaurant dinner options were delicious. When we checked out we were gifted beautiful cookies to go. Would definitely recommend.

An exceptional hotel, with first-rate staff - I really can’t say enough about how friendly, attentive and helpful all of the staff members we dealt with were. Very close to the Lastarria bars and restaurants, with more than ample options for dining out and/or afternoon/evening drinks. The rooftop patio is a particular highlight.
