"Property was perfect for our needs. Not fancy, but very clean and enough room for my wife and I with our adult son. Although it could accomodate up to 5 guests, I would not recommend it. Quiet, little town with a couple of good restaurants and cafes. Short and easy 15 min drive to Vila Nova de Milfontes or Porto Covo with amazing beaches. Hosts were wonderful and communicative while we were there. Only slight downside was that once we left, the communication was almost non-existent although we...

"If you wanted to have a family camping trip in season, this would be a great place. For us, it was not a good experience at all. Although free WiFi is advertised, it doesn’t state that it is only available in the office or the store. The restaurant was closed the days we were to be there…also not disclosed. "Sem higiene e limpeza no geral, mas cozinha é gritante. Um apartamento de férias onde existe rotatividade de pessoas, exige-se o mínimo de higiene e cuidado. O apartamento está decrépito e sem condições para cozinhar ou simplesmente estar a relaxar. Objectos de decoração em demasia e carregados de pó, cadeiras partidas, mesa da cozinha em péssimo estado, mau cheiro… De fugir literalmente! "We spent a week in Casa Sul and it was just we needed after another long winter of lockdowns and masks and covid. The house is fully equipped with everything you need and if you need anything else, Heike will definitely take care of it. The beds are comfortable, the space outside is just wonderful for lounging and meals and the kids absolutely loved feeding the donkey Paco and the several chickens. All in all, it was a perfect summer break in the perfect surroundings!"

"We had a fab time at Brian and Lesley's villa. It's a lovely property with a great swimming pool, set in rural surroundings. Brian and Lesley are really nice people, always around to help if needed but they also give you privacy and allow you to get on with your holiday. The villa is very remote (nearest supermarket is 14 mins drive) so it's the ideal place to relax. We managed trips to Beja and to Milfontes as well as the science centre/mining centre about an hour north. Definitely recommend...

Peace & tranquility in rural Alentejo

"We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear them. There is a private lake, with seating making it perfect for an evening drink or picnic! The private viewpoint overlooking the whole property is amazing. We also enjoyed feeding the chickens and geese. There is a local bar (Cafe Primo Sergio) a 30 min walk from the house which serves good, home cooked food. The owner speaks very good English and both he and his wife are really friendly. The closest town is Cercal which is about a 10 minute drive away. It has everything you need, including an excellent bakery. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay."

"This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful view and pool. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is a little isolated and you do have to drive to get to restaurants, beaches, town, but not very far. There is a restaurant and a bar and you get a fridge in your room. "
