"We spent 5 lovely days at Surfview. The location, balcony and view were the absolute highlights. Easy walk to the dog beach, river mouth and Pambula Beach. The kitchen is well equipped, beds were comfy and bathrooms clean. We did have the kangaroo family present for the duration of our stay so some negotiations were required with the dog to sniff elsewhere at times. "We had mixed feelings about this accom, and this is the first time I have left a less than sparkling review. Firstly, the pros for this cottage – it is quite private, and with lots of windows looking out onto surrounds where we enjoyed seeing a lot of varied wildlife. The bed was comfy and the water pressure really good. We thought the location was also good, and not far from the supermarket. "A well equipped house with everything I needed. I particularly enjoyed the remote feeling of the property nestled in bush land and listening to the sounds of nature day and night. Yet only 10 minutes from the closest town and easy access to a multitude of beaches, national park/state forest and lots of inland water for kayaking. A beautiful part of the coast and well worth spending time exploring or just relaxing on the deck."

"Very hard to access 5 keys and padlock Very basic accom noisy fridge dripping taps , leaky shower head saturating the bathroom floor over the curtain ( rail stain = long-standing issue .Mouldy shower curtain nothing supplied no linen and we were charged extra fees for pets then extra for cleaning and extra service fee !!! To add to the problems we found we were locked in and had a hard time getting out—no single key ingress / egress point, needed minimum 2 gate fiddle Suggest refund service...
