Room cleaning is on request, I stayed 5 nights, 2 rooms, the only day we requested to have the rooms cleaned, one of them didn’t get done. Another day it was cleaned when we didn’t request it. The staff are very polite but the English is very limited. If you don’t speak Japanese it’s very difficult to get help here, especially considering transport. The night we arrived, we ate dinner in the restaurant and were served frozen meat with the bbq dish and frozen salmon as sushi. On the night of the 30th I went to the massage salon on level two. Despite the sign reading now open and also the television information screen stating that it would be open it was not open and I had to call reception and they explained that it was closed. The TV has a hotel information page but this is obviously not updated when things are closed. The breakfast here is very very good and good value. I would recommend that. The hotel spa is also very good but there are no extra towels provided. I had to go to the reception and ask for towels..
