Wonderful gated property. Extremely friendly and helpful people. Very enjoyable resort style pool with tiki bar/restaurant. World class Arnold Palmer Golf. Quiet surroundings. Major shopping and restaurants very close. Ocean and beaches about 30-40 minutes. Coquina beach and all other Anna Maria island beaches absolutely amazing. A must stay in a wonderful community.

Nice condo; nice view
We stayed for 30 days so to qualify for golfing.It suited our stay very well. Unit is a 15 minute walk from the clubhouse so needed to drive with the clubs when we were golfing, but thats ok. Unit is on top floor, and the lanai is on a corner, so it gets nice breezes and more sun than other units. Eric was quite responsive and friendly.

THE BEST
The location of this beautiful and comfortable condo is heaven for the golfer. Its heaven for the non golfers as well. The pool area, spa are gorgeous but also so close to so many things to do. The view from the balcony with the afternoon sun made for restful pauses while getting a little more Vit D. Great fun. Everyone is already planning to return.

The condo is as advertised. Well equipped and very comfortable. The Lakewood National complex is wonderful. Golf, fitness facility, pickleball and clubhouse facilities are great. The administration at LWN is well done and there to help you out. The golf rules for renters are important to understand before you rent. Host is very responsive to any questions you may have. We would stay here again.

Although we were there for work, the condo was beyond impressive. It’s located in a new development so everything was new and upgraded. Eric was beyond professional and he was very nice. Anything we needed he followed up on..... If I’m ever in the Sarasota area again I will book with Eric!!!

Lakewood National condo
Condo was very nice. Clean, well decorated , very nice view of the lake & golf course. Top floor unit was very quiet. Unfortunately the water in the master bath was foul smelling and not very pleasant. The fitness center, pool, club house, tennis courts were just starting to be constructed so other than golf there were no other amenities. Owner was very receptive and on the spot with any small issues. This location is great for golfers but a long drive to get to the beaches.

Lakewood Ranch Condo - Golf community
Overall the condo was very nice. It was extremely clean and had many extras in the kitchen and cleaning supplies. The back porch of the condo overlooked the pond and one of the golf holes. We even saw a big alligator sunning on the ladies tees and then return to the pond. Our only disappointment was in regards to using the golf course and the driving range. We informed them at the Pro shop that we were not members of the condo and asked if we could pay a public rate. They informed us only if we had the member stay and play with us. That was disappointing, I am not sure we would have stayed if we had known that. The owner was very responsive when we had questions.

This was a great condo and area to stay in. Very, very clean. Pictures reflect what the condo and furnishings are like. Kitchen is well appointed. King size bed is comfy. Electronics are updated and nice. We spent many hours on the lanai. Quiet, beautiful sunset location, interesting golf hole to watch from the lanai. This condo is one of the better located condos in the complex. We swam at both the small community pool and the larger clubhouse pool. Both were heated and quite nice. Not overly crowded. My only complaint would be to add a few more hangers in the condo, which isn’t a big deal and perhaps a few more spices in the kitchen. The area itself is quite nice. We had no trouble getting on both courses. We did stay in November though. Winter months we did hear that some residents had issues with the amount of times they could golf. There is a lottery system now and your account should be set up 2 weeks before arrival. Staff at the clubhouse in the administration area help you with that. Do that before you arrive. All staff we encountered throughout the complex were very helpful. The owner is great to work with. Answers any questions you have quite promptly. We would rent from this owner again. All in all a great spot and we would return again.

Relaxing and Inviting Condo on a Golf Course Within Lakewood Ranch
We recently spent 30 days at Eric’s condo. We are a retired couple who wished to stay within Lakewood Ranch on a golf course with access to nearby amenities (pool, clubhouse, workout facility, ample walking/biking options, golf) & activities within & around Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton & Sarasota. In addition, the property needed to be clean, well maintained, reasonably appointed, 2 BR & have a responsive owner/manager. When exploring our options, Eric’s condo appealed to us based on its advertised features & accompanying pictures and Eric was promptly responsive to our inquiries. On check-in day, we expected to arrive a little early (2pm vs 4pm) & contacted Eric about a possible early check-in. He got back to us quickly with the access code with the understanding his cleaner might be finishing up. By the time we actually arrived after 3, his cleaner had left but we appreciated Eric accommodating us. When we entered, we were very pleased with the cleanliness & appearance of the condo, its furnishings & amenities. Everything was exactly as described & advertised. After check-in, we had no further need to contact Eric. The VRBO site & instructions we received before arrival provided most of what we needed & we figured out the rest. That said, I encourage Eric to consider leaving a welcome to the condo “cheat sheet” with a reminder list of basic information about the condo, Lakewood National & Lakewood Ranch to help other renters more quickly settle in & familiarize themselves upon arrival. During our stay we were able to genuinely relax at the condo, made use of all the amenities at Lakewood National & enjoyed a host of nearby activities, events & offerings within the various Lakewood Ranch properties (Main St, Waterside, Legacy golf course) & surrounding communities. In summary, we were very pleased with our stay & rate it 5 star across the board, but have few final thoughts for others to consider: 1) If you plan to golf, you really need to familiarize yourself with the lottery system used to make reservations well before you arrive. The 2 courses are great & practice facility is tremendous! 2) The only dining available was the Tiki Bar at the pool. The main clubhouse is still under construction. Minor issue to us. 3) Lakewood National is 20 minutes to University Mall, 45 minutes to downtown Sarasota & an hour or more to the beaches. Not being a golf couple, we did a lot offsite & hadn’t factored this into our condo selection.

Everything we hoped it would be
It is just as advertised and then some. The unit is large, warm and inviting and comes with all the necessary amenities. It has a great southern exposure beside a small lake overlooking the 12th hole and is nicely appointed. Lakewood National is a very comfortable community with lots of activities to offer which are only a short drive or 15 minute walk away. We are definitely going back next year, unfortunately not to this unit as it was already scooped up.

Loved Lakewood Ranch
Had a great time in Lakewood Ranch. Eric’s place is lovely, impeccably clean and had everything we needed and wanted. We loved the screened porch for morning coffee overlooking the lake. We enjoyed walks through the neighborhood and my husband loved the golf. We originally planned this time as a vacation and ended up closing on our new home. Our days were busy with not a great deal of relaxing but Eric’s place was that comfortable, quiet escape at the end of our day. We would not hesitate to rent this place again for ourselves or for visiting family and friends. Beautiful place Eric! Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Amazing!
We loved staying at this condo. It was very clean, nicely furnished and has everything we needed. Has a great view over water and the golf course. The facilities like the pool, gym, tennis courts etc were fantastic. Also convenient to the University Town Centre, the outlet and many restaurants. Overall a perfect rental!

Nice 2 Bedroom Condo walking distance to club house, golf, tennis and pickle
My wife and I spent 4 weeks in this condo. It is quiet, we had an assigned parking place right in front of the stairs. For the duration of the stay, the owner's Lakewood Club membership transferred to us. This enabled us to make reservations for golf, tennis, pickleball, and dinners. For golf this included free golf, but paid for carts, guest privileges, use of the driving range, pools, and large fitness center. There is a lottery system for tee times and I was generally able to get the time of day I wanted to play with advanced planning. The club membership was the big draw for us. The unit is clean, well maintained and has a well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage. The owner was very responsive and helpful to all out questions. He even brought over 2 bikes for the week. We appreciated the hospitality and enjoyed Lakewood National and Lakewood Ranch.

Pretty Terrific Place
Other than a few hiccups related to getting the greeting email, everything was fantastic. The place was clean and just as described. Eric, the owner, was readily accessible and responsive to any request. It is on the fourth floor, and although there is an elevator, I found it easier to use the steps. I would definitely recommend this condo.
