"We chose the area for the proximity to the ocean and convenience to attractions. It was perfect for short drives to multiple attractions. Home offers every convenience and the neighborhood in the off season was pin drop quiet - The beachside restaurants were closed for season so couldn’t walk to restaurants in off season but they are just a short 5-20 min drive away . Host was excellent 5stars . away"

"A more beautiful place could not be found in a small village not far from Heraklion. Filled with comfort, Greek warmth and a lot of thoughtfulness. "I cannot impress upon people how idillic this villa is. It is set near a very small village with peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The villa itself has all the amenities one would require, and the inside is is fabulous condition. There was a maid service twice a week and she did a marvelous job keeping the 5 star villa clean and today. Highly recommend this place for anyone planning a holiday to Crete. "

"The hotel itself is beautiful. From the outside to the inside, the commun area and the rooms; everything is clean with a simple and elegant vibe to it. The breakfast offered is vast and with a lot of variety, delicious as everything else in Crete. Location wise, it's central and you can walk to the port from there. There are many restaurants around the area that are pure gems. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The downsides were the unstable WiFi. We were told the bottles of water in the mini fridge were complimentary and would be replenish daily but they were not, maybe they just forgot. And the handle of the bathroom door kept falling off. All minor inconveniences that did not really affect us for the short time we stayed. Overall, recommended."
