"The hotel is situated on a one way road into the main town which is wonderful to walk in a few mins. However it’s also super noisy through the night with cars and people walking past. "A lovely provincial hotel in Sarlat & we enjoyed the breakfast. Very pleasant hosts & their dog Mario was a treat. Our only issue was that they said they had a problem with Wotif/Expedia passing on our payment & as we had to pay again on check out, & now are in negotiations with Wotif to get our money back. We have to wait 3 days so we do not yet know how easy Wotif is going to make the resolution to a problem of their making. Hopefully it will be ok "

"This is clearly a 5-star property both in a lovely removed, private setting yet mere steps from the old town. The cottage is lovingly crafted and very up to date. I was sorry not to have a "welcome notebook" with a history of the property as that would have been entirely fascinating. And although we figured everything out, a "user's guide" attached to that notebook would have been helpful. It is a spectacular property and was a joy to experience. "
