The temperature of the room was 13C, set at 25C,it never got any warmer all night, temperature outside -35C. The tub took 10 minutes to drain, the plumbing was assembled backwards with hot water coming out of the cold side. No coffee pot in room. Thin blankets, old mattress.
Sworn at and yelled at by owner for asking calmly if I could cancel our room due to pool water slide and hot tub being condemned by the city. Non smoking room smelled like badly of smoke. Beds bowed and broken furniture in room. Toilet did not flush properly. Thin walls. Front desk staff said that behavior was typical of the manager/owner and that all of the monthly renters hate him.
Our stay at the City Center Inn and Suites was okay. The room was okay. The bathroom needs some updating. The tub is old and the enamel is worn down badly, the sink and area needs to be replaced. There was no stopper for the sink, for those that use a sink to shave. TV was very snowy. Little things that make a person want to stay there again were lacking.
Very noisy being close to the road...heat not good in the room and the offered room to replace wasn’t any better. Was told there was coffee in n the lobby 24hrs a day, but when I went in the am there was only enough for one cup and they had nothing else (no sugar substitutes..had to ask for cream).
Not a safe place to stay. I will not recommend anyone to stay there and especially if you have kids then please avoid this place. People use filthy and dirty language whole night while screaming and yelling! It’s a real bad place!

Someone had music going loud enough to make my bedside table vibrate. The bathroom light didnt work. Also, there was a used needle sitting 10 feet outside the door in the parking lot. The beds where ok and felt clean at least. The staff was friendly.
It is an old motel with some updating but with some poor people on long term rentals who stay up all night being noisy. It is close to a crappy section of Saskatoon on the freeway. The traffic noise was terrible
It is no longer called Northwood and the name had changed before.I arrived they said due to a incident. They only supplied 1 face cloth and hand towel. After requesting towels 3 times and not receiving them I gave up.The place really needs
cleaning up. Checked out. I cannot believe that you would have this location on your list. Obviously it has no been inspected by Hotels.com
The bed was comfy that's all nothing more to add you get what you pay

Extremely unsafe area
Obvious prostitution being conducted from other rooms and drug dealing. Did not stay for even the first night as friends we knew in Canada insisted we did not return due to our own personal safety.
No wifi as advertised. Plastic bed liner made the bed hot and uncomfortable. Could not get into original room nor could clerk. Felt like downgraded. No continental breakfast. Hotel has potential. Room was updated but curtain hides the air conditioning causing them to flap and open on their own.
This hotel is gross, we booked with promise of a pool and waterslide both have been non functional for year, our hotel room was 30 degrees and wouldn’t turn down and a/c unit was broken, occupants in other rooms were very loud and woman dressed inappropriately were walking around room to room looking for men, the promise of free wifi was a lie it’s been down for some time. This stay was horrible
I've stayed here a few times and always had good luck. NADA this time. NO coffee machine in the room. NO FREE BREAKFAST. Nothing but excuses. Snow was 12" deep getting to the room. Too cheap to get a plow in. And we just barely had heat approx 14 degrees. Good thing we like it cool while sleeping.
TV was a Roku tv which means it goes to the internet to run. Kept freezing and stuttering.
I give this stay a 0 or 1 at best.
Sorry but I will never be coming back.
