The room was dirty, the property is dirty, the area is noisy. We did not enjoy the stay at all. If you can afford a better hotel, you should stay elsewhere.

The rooms had a very bad smell and the cleaning was terrible, the bathroom floor was clogged. The toilet bowl detached from the floor. The entire hotel looked very dirty and run down. Only one elevator and the suitcase cart broken in front of the elevator, but in a really deplorable state. The stairs are very dirty, and the trash cans are full and unemptied in the hall. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room and bathroom were dirty. Not properly cleaned, everythi g broken, the toilet was loose, the bathroom courtain was broken, the room was smelly. There was a chicken bone behind the bed. The peoperty is fully open to the street and the stairs and outside hallways were all dirty, full of water with people all around it and in front of your room, and it smelled like pee all the time. Horrible

This is a struggling property with some exceptional staff trying to keep it going! Bridget was a star & made our stay special. The rooms are clean and lovely. The rest of the property needs work. The location is fabulous - walk to the river & a 100 restaurants in a minute. But it is more motel than hotel and parking - even at $33! - is limited. Breakfast was lovely despite one staffer raging at guests throughout the morning. A work in progress. Would I stay here again? No. Did I love some of the staff & did they make my stay in Savannah forever memorable? Yes.

When we arrived after a long drive from Canada, we were told to just drive around to look for parking. This hotel is located in a very busy area and parking is not readily available. The fact that you have to pay for parking when it isn’t available anywhere near the hotel is insane to me. We were also charged for an additional day of parking, so be sure to check your credit card statements after your stay. The staff were rude, not helpful in any way. The breakfast that is supposed to be included is very sparse. Bread, muffins etc. are not replenished, so if you want these items you should be there at 7 am. Also, the hot items take over an hour to come out and limited amounts are replaced. No one there was happy with the wait and staff were rude, just standing around. The positives are that the location is lovely. There was a Christmas market by the river, many shops and parks within walking distance. I would highly recommend choosing one of the other hotels within the area and avoid the Best Western!!!

Evening staff was knowledgeable and speedy with our check in. The room looked like they worked on modernizing the furniture however the light switches and bathroom floor were dirty. There was a big tumbleweed of hair on the bathroom floor. We noticed a white noise maker when we walked in. Overnight we found out why there was a white noise machine, you can hear your neighbors coughing and flushing the toilets. Breakfast was busy and there wasn’t anything left to eat and the kitchen staff was not keeping up with demand. To be honest they didn’t look like they really cared to refill breakfast with the exception of one older lady did her best to start to restock bagels and milk. The area around the hotel is very nice and it would be a great place to stay with some better checks on their facilities. Do better “Best” Western.
