This adorable centrally located one bedroom apartment has a luxurious King bed in the bedroom, a Queen pullout sofa in the expansive Living Room, private laundry, a well stocked kitchen and dining table. This location is in a gorgeous prime spot in Savannah's busy Historic District, making the parking spot highly valuable. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and tourist attractions! We have free wifi. Check in time is 3:00pm or later. Checkout is by 11:00am. No smoking. No Pets

Steps from Perry Lane Hotel with its gorgeous rooftop bar and ground level restaurant. 'The Public Kitchen and Bar' at 1 W Liberty is 0.2 miles away or a 4 minute stroll. They serve gourmet local cuisine, designer cocktails, wine & cheese, steaks, burgers and vegetarian items. J Christopher's' is a yummy breakfast, brunch and lunch spot. It is only 266 feet from this apartment so roll out of bed and beat the crowd to this popular weekend brunch spot.

If you do not wish to use our off street parking space or have more than 1 vehicle you will have to park on street where parking is metered around the home. I loved the apartment! The bed was really comfortable and the place is so spacious and peaceful. Two issues: 1. I was freezing. Even turning the thermostat up did not help. Maybe provide a space heater for use in winter. 2. The locks are problematic. About half the time when I entered the code, I could not engage the deadbolt. Needs some attention. Other than that, I loved the proximity to everything, the overall vibe, and really felt at home. Would definitely stay here again!

Walking distance to everything.
This was a great little place in walking distance to everything in downtown Savannah. The bed was big and super comfortable. It was also great to have our own parking place. Would book again if we visit Savannah.

Cute and quaint apartment in great location
Easy checkin. Property mgr was very responsive. The apartment is old style Savannah and we loved it. Very clean and great location. You can walk to all the best spots. Would stay there again!!

The perfect location
We come to Savannah a couple of times a year but just recently started choosing VRBO instead of hotels. This stay was in the absolute perfect location. Very walkable. We loved the charm of staying in a historic location. The apartment was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. The best trip we have ever had and we’ve been to Savannah a lot. We will definitely choose to stay again!

Great location
The parlor apt was centrally located near shops, restaurants, and the free DOT bus line. King bed was very comfortable. Street noise was minimal. Kitchen needs a major upgrade including cooking/serving utensils and garbage disposal. Would I recommend this place? Yes but not to anyone with stair climbing issues.

Nostalgic and convenient
My husband and I just returned from our trip to Savannah. The renovated apartment was clean, comfortable, nostalgic, and convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. The only things we suggest is that the owner replace the towels in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the ones provided were sour smelling. Also, it would be good to provide detergent for the washing machine. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit in this beautiful apartment and historic city.

Five Day Savannah Stay
The location and property itself were exactly what we wanted. Reaching places to eat and other attractions was really convenient, and it was far enough away from River St area and downtown that it was quiet and easy to get rest. Very spacious without looking austere. It was decorated really nicely and definitely had Savannah character. My only criticisms are that some appliances—microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer—were outdated and/or in need of replacing or cleaning. I didn’t address this during the trip because it was easy enough to work around and I didn’t feel like spending time on it while on vacation. Specifically: the dishwasher was literally rusting on the racks with the paint of the metal racks peeling off. We ended up just handwashing all our dishes because of that. The microwave was also rusting/ peeling on the interior, but we did end up using the microwave anyway. When I went to try and use the washer/dryer, which was not outdated and looked perfectly clean, it smelled pretty rotten so we elected not to use that either. Luckily it was a short enough trip that laundry wasn’t a huge concern. On the other hand, the smart TVs were great, and it was super nice having one in the living room and the bedroom. Overall, we loved our stay here. Aside from the few hang ups I detailed it was perfectly comfortable and we didn’t want to leave.

Pros: The property’s location is perfect for walking to anything you want to visit within the Historic District. Everything was within 15 minutes or less to walk to and there is a good bit of stuff to check out right nearby. My girlfriend and I stayed 5 days and never had to drive to anything. The parlor apartment was nice, cozy, and clean which was perfect for us. Communication with the company was great. They were helpful with answering any questions we had when we arrived. Cons: Even though the parlor apartment is very nice, the upstairs apartment is very noisy. We went through three different families rotating through that apartment and each one you could hear them stomping around, dropping stuff on the floor, and people quiet chatting along with a baby crying. Overall, we would choose to stay here again in the future, but hope we have quieter upstairs neighbors or preferably no neighbors.

The unit has the basic daily necessities except, and this is the downside - the WI-FI is very weak and there is no cable TV. The Kitchen and bathroom have everything you need as does the bed.

Amazing home and location!!
My best friend and I took a 6 day trip to Savannah, and this stay could not have went more perfect. The place in my opinion, was even better in person than online! This was the best location I could have found. Super easy access to enter, there was a parking spot, and it was very safe. My only complaint would be the pillows are not comfortable at all so bring your own. I would choose to book this place for every future trip I take here! Highly recommend.

Excellent stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Savannah! This apartment is cozy and spacious enough for two, but if you have a couple extra there’s a trundle in the couch! And if you’re looking to stay in on a hot day, there are a few restaurants around the corner that you can do takeout and bring it back! Overall, we were very pleased with our experience!

Location, location, location
The apartment was charming and just as I wanted. It’s an old home so it has the creaks and uneven floors, and is perfect. Nothing inside is brand new, but I feel that would have taken away from the charm. That said, everything worked great. The location is amazing. Within 10-12 minutes walk to River Street or to Forsyth Park. Just steps to great restaurants. We didn’t move our car the entire weekend. Having its own parking space was the best.

My daughter and I were very happy with our stay at the Parlor Apartment on Abercorn. It met all our needs - location was great - parking available behind apartment was a plus. The only complaint was the condition of the sofa bed. When opened the mattress frame tilted downward at one end and the mattress was very lumpy. It was very uncomfortable sleeping for one person - would never sleep 2! Apartment was very clean and quiet too!

This is our 3rd time staying here. The location cannot be beat. Within walking distance (for real. Im no hiker lol) from river street, squares, eating and. The original allure was that it had its own parking space. A special commadity downtown!!! Bed is comfy. Cute sitting area for watching tv. Kitchen if ya wanna cook (but why would ya?! Youre in savannah!!!l) right across from a cemetary if you want to look around. There are upstairs neighbors that we heard in the mornings but nothing unmanagable. Def recommend adding this to your to stay list. We will be back!!
