"Ce n'est pas la première fois que je viens dans cet hôtel. J'ai pour habitude de réserver sur internet et après je téléphone à l'hôtel pour savoir s'ils ont bien reçu la réservation. Confirmation faite et ils m'ont envoyé le mail. Le 29 Decembre à notre arrivée la standardiste nous a soutenu qu'il n'y avait aucune réservation a notre nom !!! "The front desk hours were not very consistent. They were closed intermittently throughout the day. My electricity went out on one side of the townhome. "Fantastic house and really well equipped, the house is cool inside with extremely comfortable beds and great sunset views. The pool is great and private. Patricia's response rate to questions is quick and any and all queries resolved. The only negative was the building works taking place next door/overlooking the driveway, a new house is being built and the noise from the machinery, cutting of metal, hammering etc was a little annoying. The noise is intermittent but did tend to start at 8am many...

"Wonderful spacious grand Chateau providing a perfect get together peaceful location for our multi-generation family get together of 15. Such a diversity of facilities in the locality for all ages. From Kayaking to walking or simply lazing by pool in total seclusion. Local baker made breakfast a real pleasure and family local restaurants a real highlight. Thank you for such a great welcome and sharing your fresh produce that so enhanced the quality of our meals."

Beautiful home stay

"Communication from the outset was excellent, Nina was extremely helpful. She even went to the extent of getting us the loan of a guitar for my son! The house location was close to the main road which made it easily accessible, but road noise wasn’t an issue. It was also close to a few large supermarkets but a car is necessary for grocery shopping. The local village had very few shops and restaurants which meant there was nothing accessible within walking distance. We did find a local restaurant towards the end of our stay which was in a field, serving drinks and a small range of meals, in a very quirky style and setting. The home itself is beautifully decorated, and clearly much loved. We noted an extensive range of crockery, glassware etc, and it was well stocked with bowls, serving dishes, pots and pans. One slight negative was both bathrooms are downstairs but we were aware of this when we booked. The pool area was well set up with furniture and parasols, the owner keeps an eye daily on water levels and quality but asked us to also be diligent to keep the pool operating properly. We loved the outdoor eating area which is covered and cosy, with plenty of crockery, glassware etc. We ate most of our lunches and evening meals here as a family, and played cards in the evenings. We took day trips to Toulouse, Carcassonne and Montauban as well as Auterive, Montesquieu, and the discount centre at Nailloux. A lovely family holiday. Nina was a wonderful host. Thankyou."

Photos not accurate no facilities or wifi in room

"Photos on hotels.com are extremely misleading, room I got was very old and tired. There was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. I asked at reception and was told none available for the room. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly but this does not make up for the room being nothing like the photos. Just old and run down and lacking facilities. Plus the Wi-Fi did not work for my entire two day stay. I’m assuming some rooms have been renovated but I got given an un renovated room with no Wi-Fi or kettle. Very very disappointed. "
