"I didn't like that food was no longer available in the evening now that this is a Hey Lou Hotel. When it was a Comfort Hotel and then Styles, food was available. Also, what happened to the pancake machine?"

"Excellent friendly staff that are polite and very helpful, any questions I had were answered quickly and comprehensively. For your information, for the local tourist hotel tax you are required to pay you are entitled to a BODO card which gives you free travel on most buses and trains over a huge area. The public transport system is excellent and the hotel is just a short walk from the main bus and train station. The self service breakfast gives you a good selection to start your day, there is a restaurant also on site but I didn’t use it. The bar was good with the barman able to knock up a multitude of cocktails,, from what I witnessed. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable and perfect for me. There was a small fridge also where you could store some food and drink. There is car parking available for a fee, I'd advise informing them when you book but it is a reasonable charge in my opinion. There are also garages that can be booked, I only became aware of this on arrival and seeing cycle tourists storing their bicycles in there. Right by the promenade for pleasant walks and easy access to numerous restaurants it is an ideal choice in my book. Would I stay again? Without doubt."

"I was given a very warm welcome when I arrived at the SeeHotel. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful with my questions. The room that I was allocated had probably the best view over the promenade and shoreline of Lake Constance that is available from this hotel. (Room 422). Although I only used the restaurant once for an evening meal, the food was cooked very well and delicious. The inclusive buffet breakfast was also excellent, with a large selection of everything that you could wish for, for the first meal of the day. Even hot Bacon, Sausages and Scrambled eggs which in my experience is unusual for a European breakfast which usually only had cold meats and cheeses for breakfast. The town of Friedrichshafen is compact, mostly modern architecture, and easily walkable from the hotel, with olny gradual slopes, (no steep hills), and with the bus and main railway stations directly outside the hotel entrance, probably the most convenient hotel to stay in, in Friedrichshafen, (in my opinion?). There is also a free shuttle bus that takes you from the bus station, to and from the Messe exhibition halls, and the harbour. I stayed for three nights while attending the annual Ham Radio convention at the Messe Exhibition Centre and would highly recommend the SeeHotel as a great and excellent value place to stay. "

"Easy, good and clean. We booked last minute and late night on a road trip. We needed a last minute place to sleep. Easy check-in even after midnight with a phone call and a lock box. Clean and good. Recommended. "

"My wife and I had an amazingly pleasant experience at the Panorama Sheraton, and wish we had planned to stay longer than the 1 night transiting from Frankfurt to Lake Garda. The room on the 9th floor was clean, modern, comfortable and very practical. All drains were working perfectly and so did the AC. The bedding was just perfect for us and provided us with a great night sleep. Breakfast was among the best we have ever experienced in our travels. It takes place on the 11th floor from where you get a top notch panoramic view of the entire region. You may even sit outside if you wish. I saw a Zeppelin airship flying over the local mountains while having breakfast. The selection was vast and included unusual items like champagne, smoked salmon, gluten free bread, horseradish, papaya and a few very efficient coffee machines. The personnel was absolutely wonderful, cheerful, accommodating and provided us even with a great suggestion to experience the Karren funicular nearby which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Parking is very safe and only cost 12 euros per night. In our opinion this hotel could possibly turn into a 5 star given the high quality of service we have received.
