"We checked in very late and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious, no fridge but they did have an ice machine. No real aircon to speak of so would probably be hot in the summer. Breakfast was great and parking was 10-15 euros. Hotel isn’t close to anything but great for what we needed. Very happy with our stay. "

"Much of the hotel grounds are under construction. The romance of staying at an old castle, a stone spiral staircase, maces, swords, and suits of armor was great. We were impressed by the large room. The number of dogs, however, was too much. At breakfast, 2 families brought their dog, one of which kept feeding it under the table. The dog barked constantly, every time it wanted more food. "

The amenities are nice with the pool and saunas, kids playroom. We thought the dinner was quite limited and overpriced (35 euros a person for a buffet). The breakfast buffet was good.
