"Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin hat uns freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung mit Wohnzimmer, Essbereich, Küche, Schlafzimmer (Doppelbett) und Badezimmer liegt in der 1. Etage, das zusätzliche zweite Schlafzimmer (Einzelbett) ist in der 2. Etage und verfügt über ein weiteres Bad mit WC und Dusche, was wir sehr praktisch fanden. In die 2. Etage führt eine relativ schmale Treppe.Wir waren für ein paar Tage zum Wandern im Pfälzer Wald. Besonders das Dahner...

"Wir haben drei wundervolle Nächte in diesem gemütlichen, Haus mitten im Wald verbracht. Die Sauna war unser absolutes Highlight – ideal zum Entspannen bei wechselhaftem Wetter. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, wir fühlten uns bei Sonne, Wind und Regen rundum wohl. Eine Außendusche zum Abkühlen nach der Sauna wäre noch das i-Tüpfelchen gewesen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an den aufmerksamen Gastgeber – wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Schöne und gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Die Küche enthält alle Utensilien, die zum Kochen benötigt werden. Die Betten haben bequeme Matratzen. Für Wanderungen in der Umgebung ist die Lage ideal."

"Wir haben uns in dem Häuschen auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und auch der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt. Obwohl die Feriensiedlung relativ groß ist, nimmt man die anderen Häuser kaum war. Landschaftlich ist die Gegend ein Traum mit gut ausgewiesenen Rad- und Wanderwegen. Wir haben die Tage dort sehr genossen und werden bestimmt nochmal wiederkommen."

Peter was a gracious host, he surprised us with welcome treats and very responsive with any questions we had. There were quite a few stairs to get the home, but don’t let it deter you. The house is in out opinion not suitable for 4 adult couples ( 2 bedrooms and 2 double beds in the area upstairs in front of one of the bedrooms) but it was perfect for our family. Philippe is a very helpful and friendly host. Everything you need is in the house available. The area is great for walks, and there are shops and restaurants in villages nearby."

Romantik Hotel Landschloss Fasanerie

"We (family of 4 + dog) have stayed here overnight every year on our way to the south and we love it! Beautiful location (garden, woods, quiet, water feature), yet Zweibrücken’s excellent shopping outlet is just 2 minutes away by car. The rooms are comfortable and our dog was allowed to join us for dinner and breakfast (as an observer). There are two restaurants, but best to reserve a table in advance as the venue is often used for weddings (being a picturesque location). Highly recommended, and we shall return next summer!"

Schlossberg Hotel Homburg

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"I was extremely happy with my stay at Hotel Landgrafen-Mühle. My room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and reasonably priced. The hotel is very well run, and the staff was super helpful and friendly (and English speaking). Picturesque property, best schnitzel I had in Germany, and wonderful quiet. I left feeling calmed and recharged. A true gem, and I couldn’t recommend it more."

"Having booked this hotel with very low expectations I was blown away by its facilities and 5* restaurant. The staff were fantastic, rooms exceptionally clean and restaurant was the best in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend. The hotel Kunz offers exceptional value for money and easy parking which is always welcome especially as i was in a large van."

"There were renovations taking place during our atay which made finding the building difficult to find as the hotel sign was covered. Make sure you don't show up early for check-in as the doors are locked during certain parts of the day and only accessible with a key you receive when checking in. These are just friendly warnings for a better visit. The hotel itself was charming, clean, and full of modern amenities. The staff were all friendly and helpful and could accommodate French, German and even English speakers. It was the highlight of a multi-city trip. If you are visiting for other reasons, we highly recommended you visit Chateau de Fleckenstein and eat at the onsite restaurant. Make sure you request local Alsace cuisine."
