"The Station is a mere 3-4 minute walk from the Mannheim Hauptbahnhof, so it is conveniently. I opted for a slightly bigger room this time and was not disappointed as it had the "Hairspray" theme (yes, the John Waters movie). Since I was on the back, it was super-quiet and rather spacious. My only complaint was no fridge, but then again, Mannheim was so cold that the water and wine bottles on the window ledge stayed perfectly cold. Nice wine bar and good selection of local wines. It’s also a few minutes walk to the Water Tower. The property is a bit old and you can smell it as you come inside your room. However, the room is very clean and spacious.
