"The location of this property is ideal and very serene and peaceful. We loved hearing the birds and getting to see so many colorful varieties.The deck space is great, overlooking the pond and yard offering that country feel although you are only a few minutes from the city. The drive in to Salem was perfect. We loved being so close but also having this house to escape to.The space in the home is very large, lots of spaces to gather and visit. "The house inside was as advertised. Beds were good, showers were good, plenty of linens and nice appliances. We had a big group so the number of glasses and bowls available was not really enough without washing dishes each day. Also, not really the fault of the owners at all, but there is a train track right next to the property and a train went by, blaring its horn through the intersection at 3:30am both nights we were there which woke everyone up so if you stay there, be aware that may happen....
