Due to a booking error, I was able to book the accommodation even though they were closed.
Brian still gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our room free of charge.
He gave us tips for a good restaurant and even made a reservation for us!

"Quick and easy check-in and run by a lovely couple. Spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay (and quite unexpected) was the little bar and free to play pool table providing a few hours of entertainment in the evening after a long day on the road! We also enjoyed a hearty, home-cooked dinner and breakfast too, both delicious and with a beautiful view!"

They do recommend you book dinner 2 today’s before which we were unsure of especially as there was no menu but it was well worth it. The reason for not having a menu in advance is because it is changed daily with 3 options to choose from for each course with complimentary tea and coffee in the bar.
