"We really enjoyed this house. The location is quite peaceful; it has water on three sides and a large amount of "yard,", great for my grand-dog. The house is nice too, a bit worn in spots and some small things to fix, but nothing major. There's lots of space and the living room is large and comfortable. There's a nice dock (shallow water, but fine for kayaks), two screen porches, a hot tub, and a deck with a porch swing. The bedrooms are pleasant and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is large with lots of counter space and an amazing amount of cooking equipment. We made Thanksgiving dinner there. The view can't be beat! And if you are a bird-watcher or photographer, you will love this location! The sunsets were amazing. My only complaint is about Vacasa; next rental I will look for houses not managed by them. You have to go to their office to get a "Packet" and then you have to return it at the end--yes, another drive. The office staff was very nice but I would have rather not go to the office. Also it was impossible to get good information from them. I asked some questions about the house and got exactly opposite results from different people. No, "there are no bowls or frying pans", "yes there are some basics" (neither of these were true--there was lots of stuff!) Leave the sheets on the bed, strip the bed, put away the dishes, don't put away the dishes....sigh..."
