Please view the TSRA website for current information regarding the use of community facilities, such as the swimming pools, saunas, tennis courts.

Wake up to panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean at this gorgeous Sea Ranch home, a secluded three-bedroom escape with an ocean-facing deck and hot tub, community access to swimming pools and saunas, and a stunning interior filled with upscale furnishings and cozy coastal charm.

Scenically situated in an open meadow just west of California Highway 1, this two-level home is located in a quiet neighborhood half a mile north of Stengel Beach. You'll be just half a mile from the pool, saunas, and tennis courts at the Ohlson Recreation Center, one mile from the famous tide pools of Shell Beach, and five miles south of the markets, shops, and restaurants in downtown Gualala.

An ideal setting for a family vacation or a romantic getaway, the living space is a beautiful blend of comfort and style. The steel cable railings, well-placed track lighting, and elegant furnishings and fixtures add a touch of modernity to the home, while the warm redwood beams, incredible cork floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows help bring the wonders of nature inside.

Make yourself at home in the first living room, where you can curl up with a book on the sectional sofa, throw a few logs in the wood-burning stove (firewood is provided), and watch for whale spouts on the ocean horizon. Move into the second living room to catch up with your loved ones by the gas fireplace, plug your iPhone into the sound dock, and use the WiFi to stream a few tunes.

Stock up on groceries at the Surf Market in Gualala and prepare breakfast each morning in the gourmet kitchen. Use the Keurig to whip up homemade lattes, spread out your ingredients on the granite countertops, and prepare scrambled eggs and pancakes with the stainless steel appliances. The gorgeous wood dining table has seating for six, and a dishwasher is on hand to take care of the plates.

Unfold the newspaper and head outside to the ocean-facing deck, where you can read in the sunshine and watch for deer in the surrounding meadow. Come lunchtime, you can light the gas grill on the front porch, sit down to eat at the patio table, and reconnect with your loved ones as you enjoy the view.

Spend your afternoons at the Ohlson Recreation Center, swimming in the heated outdoor pool, relaxing in the sauna, or playing tennis, basketball, and volleyball with friends. When you come back home, you can warm up in the private hot tub on the enclosed garden patio, pile on the sofa, and choose a DVD to watch on the flatscreen cable TV and Blu-ray player (with 3D capability) in the living room.

With three bedrooms, a loft, and two full bathrooms, Sentinel Ridge will accommodate eight guests. You'll sleep soundly in the master suite, which features a king-size bed and a bathroom with a wonderful multi-jet shower. The other two bedrooms have a queen-size bed and a pair of twin beds, respectively, and they share a bathroom with a stall shower.

The loft is accessed with a ladder-style staircase, offering a comfortable futon-style sofa that overlooks the kitchen, dining room, and living room. You'll find a second flatscreen TV and a DVD player in this space, as well as a private washer/dryer on the main floor for all of your laundry needs.

Beloved by architecture enthusiasts, nature lovers, and Northern Californians in search of relaxation, Sea Ranch is a magical place to rest and unwind. When you're not swimming laps at the Ohlson Recreation Center, you can take hikes along the incredible Bluff Trail, watch for whales at Gualala Point Regional Park, or tee off at the Sea Ranch Golf Links just four miles north on Highway 1.

Take an afternoon drive to the Point Arena Lighthouse 24 miles north, and return home to watch the sunset on the sand at Stengel Beach. Look for starfish, anemones, and other sea creatures in the tide pools at Shell Beach, and keep an eye open for harbor seals playing in the waves.

It's always the right time for a Sea Ranch escape - book your next vacation to the majestic Northern California Coast today!

Spring Break
This is one of the older homes on the Sea Ranch with a spectacular view and an excellent location for most of the attractions and activities at Sea Ranch. The home has been updated so most required appliances function are in good condition and function well. Primary heating is the fireplace with 3 space heaters for the bedrooms. We've stayed here before and asked in advance to ensure the BBQ was working (it was) and there were enough space heaters for all 3 bedrooms (there were). There was not quite enough firewood left for the week so we had to supplement the supply with a couple of bundles from the local hardware store in Gualala. Host was responsive to our needs and requests and the home was an excellent place to snuggle in when the Spring rain came a calling. We recommend it highly for young families who want to be close to the Olsen Pool and centrally located for runs into town for supplies, quick trips to the beach at lowtide, and a lazy afternoon visit to the Sea Ranch Lodge for a cocktail and a cheese platter for the kids.

Heads up if you’re a cook…
-Cute and warm layout with the two living room areas -Not literally warm though: the gas fireplace works, but none of the other heaters do. There is a wood fireplace and firewood, but there was no kindling. -I was in the master and the bed was really comfy -Heads up if you’re a cook…the cookware is terrible! Like what you’d expect at a funky cabin: old non-stick pans, mostly plastic cooking utensils, and very little in the way of serving ware, even (No large serving bowls or plates, no salad bowl but plastic.) Both quality and quantity were grim on the cookware. Plenty of plates and glasses though. (Fortunately I got there early, saw the situation, and we are local, so I had my friends bring cooking pans and mixing bowls!) -Somehow I didn’t notice in the listing that the house is right on Hwy 1, backs up to it. There was no issue with noise though. (Of course, I was in the master in the front of the house.) -Since this info was nowhere in the house and I had to figure it myself, I pass this along to you here if you stay here: the walking path to the bluffs is BEHIND the house. It’s lovely. Overall the house is cute.

Birthday Beach Girl Trip
The property was well depicted in the description online and in the photos. It was well kept and spacious and had lots of options for where to sleep...I think that was my favorite as we had six ladies who all had different waking hours. The kitchen was excellent and well stocked with cooking implements of all kinds. We made hot breakfasts and my sis made a pie and all the kitchen tools were there. Everything worked great. Nice to have light switches labeled. Gas fire worked. Everything was very clean and such a nice big house gave us options for hanging out. There were even board games, cards, books and movies (we had brought all of our own and didn't have time to hardly use half of ours!) which we didn't use but it was nice they were there. The only thing I didn't like was the late arrival and early departure times. This being my first time renting a place I didn't ask to change them but I would another time. I know it takes a while to clean a big place but we tried to be clean - didn't leave the place full of pizza boxes, underwear, beer bottles and trash :D so I get that housekeeping wouldn't know what to expect and might take a while. It made our last morning very hectic. Otherwise everything was nice.

The property is one of the older homes at Sea Ranch, and we're very familiar with Sea Ranch being former home owners and visitors for over 40 years. The property is high on the meadow with an outstanding view. The property is well maintained, and has been upgraded over the years and for the most part, everything worked.

May 2022 visit
We are a group of women who visit Sea Ranch at least annually or more often. The house was very comfortable with lovely views We enjoyed the two living room areas . The house is better suited for couples due to the type of beds. A few critiques: many sets of stairs up and down to different levels, the kitchen could use a a blender otherwise it was well equipped, the lockbox didn't work and we had to contact management to get into the house, up to date instructions needed for using the TV and streaming options.

Lovely house with gorgeous ocean view with a few quirks
This house was really very lovely with beautiful ocean views. Being farther back from the coast means you have a longer trek to the beach, but from the house you can see further out to sea which is quite magical. As others have stated, the layout of the house is a bit funky, with one of the two bathrooms accessible only through the primary bedroom which poses a challenge to privacy. The house was very clean upon arrival, and the kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils. As for the downsides: the upholstery in one of the couches is coming apart, as are the outdoor cushions. The main issue we encountered was a drastically increasing number of ants over the 4 nights we stayed. There were none on arrival day but by the day we left they seemed to be EVERYWHERE, despite leaving all our food well sealed and a few ant traps left out by the maintenance team.

Lovely Home!
This house was gorgeous. Incredible layout, views and tons of wildlife that came by the house or passed by in the water. The beds were very comfortable and fire places cozy. Check-in/out was easy. The fridge stopped working when we were there and it was replaced within in hours of notification. The hot tub was hot and clean, but the jets didn't work. For a high end home I wished it had some basic amenities such as dish towels, tupperware, detergent, tissues, etc. but we just picked some up at the store and took what we bought home with us. With these few details fixed this would be a five star home for sure. We'd love to come back, Sea Ranch is magical.

Relaxing upscale retreat
We loved the views, the floor plan, especially the upscale kitchen open to the living spaces. The house is by the highway but we didn’t hear any traffic noise. The living area, two rooms side by side with their own view windows and fireplaces, was spectacular. Perfect for our family of eight, everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving feast. We saw a whale playing near the shore almost every morning. Walking distance down the hill to the bluff trail and amazing ocean views.

Great weekend getaway
Stayed at this property over the weekend in early September. The weather was beautiful and the location very quiet and isolated. Gualala is about 10 minutes away for restaurants & groceries. The house was a classic example of Sea Ranch architecture. It was beautiful, clean, fully stocked, and had plenty of room for six adults. Great ocean views and a short walk down to the rocky shore. Lots of critters around, including some friendly deer. The check-in process was a little confusing. We had to drive into Gualala to pick up a "guest packet" that was left in a lockbox by the Vacasa office (because the office closed at 5). The office was kind of hidden in a small strip mall off the main road, so we just had to hunt it down. Then we learned we really only needed the packet if we wanted to use the Sea Ranch pool, which we didn't, so the whole thing was a bit of a time sink. But that's just a small quibble. We'd recommend this house for anyone wanting to take in the Sea Ranch "experience." It's a perfect destination for enjoying the rugged beauty of the Northern California coast.

Amazing house!
The house is as beautiful as the views! This property worked great for 2 families of four. There are two seating areas just below the dining area that allowed for sitting and watching college football in one room and games to be played in the other. There was also a "secret room" as the kids liked to call the loft. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of glassware and kitchen tools. The views are amazing with good accessibility to the various rec centers, beaches and trails. Fantastic house for a home base or to hang at for the whole trip. The only knock, and it is a minor one, is that you have to pick up your packet at the office for all the passes. Would be more convenient if it was at house for you.

Filthy!
The bottoms of our feet were black after being there an hour, there was crumbs on the kitchen counter, PUKE on the back steps and hair on the bathroom counter. When I called the management, she gave me attitude and then said she'd refund the cleaning fee (which she never did) and then I had to ask for more paper towels and cleaning spray to finish cleaning the place (there was only one roll of paper towels for a 4 day stay!). We spent the first couple hours of our vacation, cleaning since we have two little kids. And you can't check in until 4:00!! Not the start to the vacation we had hoped for.

Not perfect but nice..
Stayed there 2 nights with my family. My 80-year-old mother had some difficulty with the multiple steps on various levels so this is something to watch out for people with mobility issues. Overall the location is amazing and the views from the living room are outstanding. The bedroom window could've been better designed to take advantage of the view. The house is a combination of elegant touches in the interior (spacious, efficient, stocked kitchen with track lighting) but also needs updating and better cleanliness on the outside. We ended up not using the hot tub at all.

Fantastic views, super-stocked kitchen, inviting living rooms
A wonderful holiday place for four parents, two 19-year old boys and two 15-year old girls! We thoroughly enjoyed both living room areas, the hot tub (quite clean when we arrived!), the well stocked kitchen, the gorgeous views, dining together at the table, and on the deck looking out to the Pacific. Don't hesitate to book this house! Although it is close to the highway, the traffic noises are discreet; we hardly heard anything except when in the hot tub or on the deck.

NIce space, stocked kitchen. lame hot tub
Great space...except for the hot tub which was very small and dirty. Comfortable for two people and you could squish four in, but for a House that holds 8 the tub was unexpectedly tiny . Also my daughter got foliculitis from the hot tub being dirty, which is a staff skin bacterial infection and she has to be on 10 days of antibiotics
