This first-floor Pelican Watch Villa has one bedroom and two full baths, a large living and dining area, two TVs, and free WiFi. 13105 Pelican Watch Villa has spectacular sunset views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Edisto River. There is a front and rear entrance with a private deck. This villa accommodates up to four guests with one king-size bed and a sleeper sofa. The villa is 50 yards from the beach and about 300 yards from the Seabrook Beach Club. The family dog is welcome. A Seabrook Island Amenity Card is available with this property for a daily fee. The Amenity Card gives you access to the Beach Club (with two outdoor pools and a beach area), the restaurants, golf, tennis, the equestrian center, and the Lake House (with one outdoor pool, a fitness center, indoor pool).

Great Pet Friendly Villa
Second time staying here. Enjoyed it even more as they upgraded the furniture and television. Easy walk to the river and has one of the best sunset views you can get in SC.

Quite retreat steps from the beach
The condo was in a great location with a beautiful view of the water and sunset. It was perfect for my husband and I, and the two bathrooms were nice. There was plenty of room and we appreciated it being pet friendly.

Quiet little hideaway…perfect for a little R & R
This condo was very easy to find wit lots to do close by. The unit was very clean & well equipped for our stay. I enjoyed sitting on the covered deck where we saw lots of wildlife walk by. On morning & evening walks we saw many dolphins. This unit is positioned to watch evening sunsets from covered deck. I hope to return one day!

Seabrook Island engagement
The condo was very nice. Everything was perfect for the long weekend where our daughter got engaged. The 2 issues we had with the condo were: 1. The pull out bed was broken up by the head side. My daughter had to sleep foot side so she wouldn’t slide backwards. 2.The WiFi was AWEFUL! It would cut out or drop calls if we were in the bedroom. It would also cut out if 2 people were on a computer. Which made it very difficult to work while we were there. Overall it was good.

Just what we were looking for!
Very nice place. Great location. Only issue was we requested early check-in and Vacasa said they would let us know as soon as cleaning was done and could possibly check-in early. Never received a text though. So we thought we would go to our place anyways and by chance it may be getting close to being done at 330 and condo was vacant! Also dishwasher was full of dishes to be emptied and or washed??? No coffee pot for coffee maker, we made coffee in a pan:( .Also asked if there were beach chairs at the condo Vacasa said they were not provided yet the balcony had four available. Make sure to see what you have in the rental before going out and purchasing.

Great Location but home needs TLC
We loved the location and the fact that we could bring our dog but the home needs some TLC and a deep clean. There was visible trash and food on the floor and around the house. In the master bedroom and bathroom squished mosquitoes covered the walls. The toilet leaked when flushed and one of the light switches shocked my husband when he went to turn it on. Maintenance came out to fix these problems. He fixed the toilet but told us the lightswitch was a much bigger job and he would have to come back another time. There was also a hole in the master bedroom floor and the blinds were broken so people could see the bed from outside. Would not stay here again unless some work was put into this home.

Not what we expected
We booked this for our first trip to seabrook. We were there with our two children (11 and 8) and specifically booked this for proximity to beach. We were disappointed it was on the river, not the ocean. The water had zero waves (it’s a river “beach”) and I didn’t think was very clean. Our kids got in once and we never went back. Knowing now how the island is laid out we wouldn’t stay on this side for that reason. The sunset was pretty but again when it’s listed as beachfront you assume a beach with waves and ocean! Also- the WiFi didn’t work from Friday-Sunday. We finally had that fixed something about a new modem and no one seemed to know the correct password which was over 20 digits once we did figure it out. We thought we were going to have to leave because my husband needed to work Monday. That was frustrating because we had to constantly call or email as we had signals which was minimal and annoying the first two days. The washing machine also didn’t work which we did tell property management about twice and no one came to fix it. We were thankful we brought our own sheets as the sheets were not clean on the pull out couch! I don’t think it had been changed in some time. The unit is exactly how it looks in pictures but I didn’t feel like the WiFi and washing machine problems were things that you should have to deal with on vacation. It is close to a sandy area with water but again If you are looking for an actual beach this is not it!

Great place
The unit was perfect size for us. The view was beautiful and the beach was easy to walk to. The unit needs a new bed. There was no cable tv as listed, but the internet was fast enough for streaming. The nicknacks took up too much table top space and the dining room table is too big for the unit. These are suggestions, as we really did enjoy the unit, especially the covered deck.

Autumn getaway
The location is great. Beautiful sunsets, deer were very welcoming! The unit could definitely benefit from some upkeep,( cabinets need replacing, grill on laundry room door hasn’t been cleaned in a looong time, cookware needed a good scrubbing-which I did) A couple beach chairs would be a nice touch!

Buildings are dated with exteriors in need of freshening. Outside parking areas are basically tacky and in need of cleanup and pavement repair. Interior of this one unit needs updating as well. Nothing seriously wrong, just fresh decorating. Two minor interior repairs could be made. Small bath toilet seat plastic rim is cracked in front and will spread. One chair cushion on deck showed dark stain noticed on arrival

Pelican Watch Villas Ocean Front Condo

Great condo at Pelican Watch
We had a great time. We've stayed at Pelican Watch many times over the years but this was our first stay in this unit. It was better than expected, very nice and clean. The view of the water was better than in the pictures, maybe just a different perspective when you are actually there. It is in the last building at the North end of Pelican Watch and that cut down on foot traffic in front of our unit making it more private. There was a newer style ceiling fan on the deck which made it easier to stay cool. We read previous reviews about issues with wifi but we didn’t have any problems at all. The TV worked great and we were able to get our streaming subscriptions like Amazon, Netflix and Hulu. The kitchen had everything needed, washer and dryer were in great shape. We had a few questions before arrival and Vacasa was quick to respond with good info.

It was nice but
So it was a nice place and very clean when we arrived. Things I had wished I had known before we arrived: It is the first floor but it is up 5-6 steps to the front door so it is not an easy access if you are looking for step less entry. Also, it is on the end but it is the second unit from the end and there are units above you and on both sides of you - so a fair amount of noise. It had central AC but we could not open the windows in any of the rooms. We had hoped to open them at night for fresh air but could not. Finally, its great if you want to bring your dog. But we heard barking a lot at all hours. In spite of the above, I am giving it one star because we returned home and now they are claiming we chipped the granite counter tops. We did not chip the counter tops. I didn't notice it at all but I know we did not cause the damage - how does one chip a granite counter anyway? Once this is resolved I will update my review.

Seabrook Island visit
My wife and I spent 4 days at SEABROOK Island for a winter getaway. And the accommodations at Pelican Watch condo were very nice, clean, comfortable , and what we wanted.
