"Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is."

The cottage is ideal for the two of us and the pooch, and is our second time staying there and most likely will be returning next year. "I was impressed by all of the staff within the hotel, even when I asked if they could organise hiring a tuxedo for the evening they were able to arrange everything... Also I'm so surprised with the beautiful smells in the room/shower/ carpet was so clean like i have no enough word to describe this hotel. It’s a lovely lovely hotel."

Fantastic winter break.

"Lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful - receptionist showed us several rooms when we enquired about an upgrade, and gave us a lake view for £20 extra. Food allowance was ample and meal was excellent. Lovely breakfast. Really enjoyed the spa and the a candlelit back massage. Loves all the unique and quirky art all around the hotel. We will definitely return. "
