Welcome to your Central District Seattle home! My husband and I renovated this, never lived in, downstairs apartment with a luxuriously tiled bathroom and rain shower head complete with an electric fireplace, two queen beds, a designated workspace, outdoor patio with seating area and firepit overlooking a garden and a small but growing collection of vinyls to explore. Just 2 miles to Capital Hill and 3 to Pikes Place market, you're close enough for a very short bus/bike/scooter ride but far enough for a quiet night's rest. You'll love it here!

We did not stay at the property because it was not an entire house like it was listed as the people that live upstairs have access to the area you are staying and there was blood splatters on a blanket that divided what was called a second bedroom in the living room area. There were used toothbrush and toothpaste in the shower! We decided book a different place last minute. I did not feel safe staying there and it was dirty! Try to get a refund and did not have any success.

This is great and priced for what is offered. But if you are scent sensitive it will be uncomfortable. We had to remove three scent set ups and left. Day early it was overwhelming for su. This may not be an issue for others. So, just noting it here.

Lots of stairs
Unfortunately there was a very steep flight of stairs to get in and out of the apartment which I was unaware of as it was not part of the property description or in the photos. This was very difficult for me as I have a knee injury and wear a brace on my leg. There was also a very strong musty odor that was being masked by scented plug-ins. The outdoor patio area was very nice and we spent our time there.

Basement apartment
We needed this location, as family lives nearby, but had not realized it was in the basement level. My family member is getting a knee replacement soon and the stairs were dismaying. She thought the space was musty and was disappointed to have no cooktop, only a microwave and a refrigerator. She was a little unnerved by the stairway to the main floor that didn't seem secure from her side. So, overall, I'm sure it was fine for a short time, and might have been lovely to sit outside on the patio, but the basement location was not clear to us and was somewhat disappointing.

Great Location and Bigger than Expected!
Super cute basement turned vacation rental that is better than the ad makes it seem. It's in a quiet part of town that is close to so many things to do and so many great places to eat. Highly recommend staying here!

LOVE IT EVERYTIME I STAY! Very beautiful place, courteous owners, and the best part is that it’s only 7 mins away from downtown. Best place I have ever stayed. So much space to do activities. Scenic backyard with such a cool patio. And YES they have a beautiful dog! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!!

False advertisement
We had a hard time finding this place. When we did. We was not able to get in the code that was provided. Was lock out for 30 min. My daughter called VRBO for help. We waited online. I finally was able to get a hold of the owner who live in a different state. We told them we been trying to get in for awhile with the code that was informed on the website. They finally tells us the code to open the key lock to open the door. When we got in and open the refrigerator there a paper stated not to eat the food below because it belong to someone who lives there. I'm like I rent this place for me and my kids to relax and now thinking who else lives here or going to come in. The place has 1 room and a extra so called studio bedroom with curtains and it was small to moved around. Next time I'll book a hotel that I'm sure that nobody not going to tell me not to eat there food.

The suite is very nice with an outdoor patio. We really liked it. The owners are on site which is not a relaxed feeling. I received a note on my car about how I parked and that I blocked one of their cars from getting out. I parked using the guide on the driveway and did not go over it. The street we were on was nice. Going for a walk was easy. The local store is not ideal if you are bothered by panhandlers and drug use. Be advised: there are steep and rickety stairs to get to the suite. If you have bad knees, be careful.

My husband and I and one of our friends were in town for a wedding and we stayed in this property for 2 nights. For 3 people (and a short stay), this was perfect! Check in was easy and the hosts were super nice. Great neighborhood that we enjoyed walking around and there’s a cool local brewery about 15 minutes walking distance that we LOVED. Between rideshares, walking, and transit we didn’t drive our car the entire weekend so the property is in a great area! All in all, we loved it and it was perfect for our needs.

We had a great time visiting. This place was really great from when we arrived till leaving. The neighborhood was peaceful and it was great to enjoy sitting out on the little patio in the backyard enjoying the calmness around but still being secluded. Just a chill vibe at this place. Inside was really clean and just had a cool setup! Randy was a great host, friendly and we would definitely stay there again in Seattle. Thanks for the hospitality. I would definitely recommend! 🤙🏻
