My sister and I were really excited to stay here but the staff wasn’t friendly at all. We had a drink and dinner one night, went for a swim, and everywhere it felt like we had to make an effort to get staff attention to serve/help us. Disappointed because we spend a lot of money at McMenamins all over.

Our 3rd trip back to McMenimans to stay for Xmas & also to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Love this place, so clean/comfy & such interesting decor!! Great food options, love the gift shop! My husband loves the fire pits outside! We will be back soon!

The hotel is is a fun repurposing of a cool school building. The courtyard area is great for gathering with friends or making new ones. Great to have several food and beverage options on premises.

First Stay at a McMennamins - Loved it!
This was such a unique and unexpected treat. The stay at Mcmennamins was only one night, but it became the highlight of my vacation. I love when there is something interesting about a hotel I am staying at and Anderson School hotel has interesting for days! The former school is such a unique vibe for a hotel, but combine that with the way McMennamins has respectfully brought the stories of many former teachers, administrators, coaches and other local celebrities to life through Art was incredible. There are three full restaurants on site. My wife and I ate at the Woodshop and played a game of shuffleboard while we were there. Then we went to Nui Nui Polynesian Grill for dessert. Both restaurants food was great and the ambiance was top notch! There is a theatre on site as well, but by the time we finished dinner it was too late to make the final showing. I absolutely loved this and I am excited to check out the other McMennamins properties throughout the northwest.

The hotel was portion was great, the restaurant not so much. We ate at the restaurant on site and even though we were one of about three people there it took almost 40 min to get our food. After we got our food the server asked if we would like another drink and that took over 20 min to get.
