Secluded Lakefront Cottage in the Cariboo Pet-friendly

Get ready to play, relax and have a beautiful vacation at Ruth Lake Retreat. This secluded cottage has two bedrooms and a detached bunkhouse. You can choose to boat, kayak, fish and swim to your hearts content or relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings in our unique spot. The dock provides an opportunity for mooring your own boat or feel free to use our 14" aluminum boat. Directly out your back door enjoy the full experience of the Cariboo including quading, hiking, cross country skiing and ice fishing to name a few. We look forward to hosting you.

Beautiful spot!
Lovely lake, great views from home. Quite shady on the dock and yard in the afternoon, at least during the later part of summer. Cabin is rustic with only one bathroom so a little tight if you are filling all beds. The bunkhouse bedroom is that, an outdoor bunkhouse, the master bedroom is huge and the loft is of course open to the living area. My only negative would be the kitchen as I felt it could use a good scouring and a little more security against “critters”. Overall we enjoyed our stay and felt at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "Secluded Lakefront Cottage in the Cariboo". This is an outstanding venue that met all of our expectations and hopes for a quiet and restful get-away location. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms; beautiful view and lot, surrounded by trees and water. Wish we could have stayed indefinitely!

Summer Retreat
Nice private location at the junction of the three arms of Ruth Lake. Gorgeous view from the cabin with multiple outside decks and seating areas. We spent most of our time on the upper deck and on the dock. Swimming was great in the clear water right from the end of the dock, and we enjoyed paddling all three arms of the lake. The cabin was as advertised and was well stocked.

Property is beautifully located, quiet and easily accessible. Cabin has everything you need, very comfortable and clean. It was great we could bring two dogs. We will come back here for sure!

Very peaceful setting with nice amenities throughout. Waking up to the Loons was a one of a kind experience. Dockside at the lake is epic with jumping of the dock multiple times a day mandatory. The bedrooms were simple and clean offering space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and rustic (propane stove) and the BBQ worked well. We will be back and looking forward to it. Next time we will bring our electric motor for the gunboat too!
