"This is a hotel outside of Ella (25 minutes) a bit misleading as we discovered. The room is a 2 story so you have plenty of room but more than you really need unless you have a big family with you. The room is decorating simple and not updated. The view is great as you’re surrounded by so much foliage but if you plan to hike in Ella and enjoy their many restaurants and take the train from there, do yourself a favor and stay in the actual town, would’ve been much better. "

"I really liked how peaceful this place was with a great view. The English breakfast was not great, but the Sri Lankan breakfast was very good. And the Jacuzzi is nice to have, but it’s not hot. The room was great that I had with a view of Ella rock. But the bathroom doors were kinda like closet doors and made a big noise when you went in and out the people were very nice and helpful and kind. "We had an amazing stay here! The hotel is very close to the Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arches walk. The staff were truly wonderful and went out of their to way to make my friend’s birthday very special, decorating our room and made her a fantastic cake with very little notice! Having breakfast on their terrace with the wonderful views was one of the highlights! Highly recommend staying here!"

"The view from our room was absolutely amazing and the bedroom was very comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand not the best, quite dark and the shower had quite a bit of black mould stains and needed a deep clean. Steep walk to get down to Ella and back to the hotel again. "I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. It is rustic, peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view. The breakfast is excellent and the hospitality is outstanding. My only word of caution is that there are many steep stairs to get from the road to the property so it wouldnt be appropriate for people living with mobility limitations. Otherwise i highly recommend it. "

"The property was fine but there were two things that stood outabout our stay. Firstly it was a quiet location with fabulous views. Secondly and most significantly, the couple that ran the hotel where absolutely charming and extremely helpful. They made a meal for us when we arrived which was delicious and the helped arrange a tuk tuk for a morning of touring. We found all the people we dealt with in Sri Lanka were welcoming and nice, but this couple stood out as extra special."
