Outside door is locked at all times and we had to ask them to open the door each time we wanted to get something from our car. They tried to charge us for parking (it was supposed to be free). "Hotel is ok location...close enough to the train station and new town. A bit of a walk to the medina. The staff were friendly. My room was on the 1st floor just above the bar and bar terrace so the noise was very loud until midnight or someones 1am. So dont expect any sleep before things close up. However i did find a fantastic little cafe close by - Breizh Cafe which is so friendly and does the best well food....all brilliantly priced!"

"2nd time staying here, perfect hotel, clean, quiet, beautiful room, comfortable bed, good food especially Friday special cous cous was delicious just like homemade and Moroccan dessert was also delicious. One negative: not a good experience at the spa- the steam room didn’t work properly, which is the whole point of hammam- you need to spend time in the hot steam room before the scrub for the best results. Beautiful historic building, good service

"You get a pleasant surprise when you first enter the riad from the narrow street and corridor. It opens up into a beautiful foyer area. Our room was also a lovely historic room with an impressive painted ceiling. The room had everything we needed and we slept very well. Breakfast was good and served on the rooftop in a nice room with large windows. The service was generally very good although they did appear to be short staffed. The receptionist kept answering by phone while trying to check us in at the same time. We also found the front door locked and were unable to leave as a receptionist wasn’t at the desk. The walk to the centre of the medina take about 20 minutes and you will come across locals telling you certain routes are “closed” trying to get you to pay them money to show you the way. Trust your phone GPS. The hotel is near a road accessible by cars which is convenient for drop off and pick up. No need to drag cases through the narrow streets. "

"Excellent riad in the old city. Very friendly multilingual (Arabic, English and French) staff that can help with taxis and tours. Beautiful rooms with luxury touches (we had one on the top level with an open-air terrace and a wonderful view). The restaurant is excellent for breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended for those wanting a very nice place in the old medina. "

Beautiful clean, quiet riad

"This is a beautiful riad that was renovated to maintain the feel of a traditional Moroccan home. The owners and staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable from the start. The rooms have windows that look into the central courtyard which is also the dining room. There is a skylight overhead which gives natural light. It is in a quiet, very convenient location near various entries to the medina, and as a bonus there is a brand new laundry service a minute's walk away. They had our clothes washed, dried and folded in two hours for a very good rate, charged by the kilo. It is unfortunate the owners of the riad don't make clear that guests receive a 25% discount on dinners. She cooks from recipes handed down in her family. So delicious. But at list price they are a bit higher than we wanted to pay each night. At the discounted rate they were better. The only downside was breakfast. It was an egg cooked to preference, a small carton of average yogurt, a little fruit and a lot of bread with spreads. Considering the quality of the dinner, and that originally the couple planned to open a restaurant and cooking school, we hoped for something more noteworthy. Nonetheless, I would definitely stay there again."
